Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had heard wonders about this place so maybe I had too high expectations, not sure anyhow here is my review: the place has a beautiful feel to it, a lot of care has been taken to look after the manicured garden, the decor, plates...and flower arrangements are quirky but not over the top. I thought it was particularly well done. The punch offered is refreshing and not too sweet like many places. I found the savoury food to be tasty and well presented. I was highly disappointed by the sweets, hardly anything to my taste there. I was surprised that a high tea did not include any scones (I love high teas and never had one that did not include them) and they only serve tea at the end which I found weird and really ´not high TEA like.´ I ordered Earl Grey tea and it came in an individual pot with loose leaves, unfortunately despite leaving it to infuse, it never came strong enough. We were a large group and a few others were not satisfied with their drinks either. I had a lovely time catching up with a group of girlfriends but for $60 and those significant set backs, I think I will try the next High Tea place and probably won’t be returning.More

We arrived for high tea at 11.30 and we walked thru the garden which has beautiful standard roses the smell was devine. We were welcomed with a wonderful punch then we had onewonderful course after another tea and coffee was also served. We have been...to high tea all over the world and this right up there with the best of them. Thanks ladies for a wonderful time thoroughly enjoyed every morsel . There were 2 very loud and noisey tables but that is the lack of the draw I guess. It didnt not stop our enjoyment.More

Great selection of food (some didn't like Chilli but tried most things) All served on beautiful cake stands. Some times things were whipped away before being finished for those doing more talking than eating. BYO available. Beautiful area. Off street parking. Table of 24 +...3 other smaller groups and was very noisy - hard to hear what people were saying. Have to be out by 4.30 on the dot. LOLMore

Located in a charming country setting, with ducks of all types, shapes and sizes being a feature of this entity. We attended 11.30 am on a weekday. Bright atmosphere with presentation superb. There was a soup starter, then three stands of various savoury delights, a...palate cleanser, a dessert, then tea and coffee served with a stand of sweets. So much tasty food, could not do justice to the sweets so brought them home.A must do in my opinion.More
