Despite reviews talking about pasties they no longer make them. Staff seemed to be inconvenienced by having to serve a paying customer whilst showing great enthusiasm for serving those wearing a Village Bakery uniform. Poor sausage roll with no flavour. The "award" for their pies...More

Worth a visit if you’re here. Not if you have to travel. Very wide range of pies (my favourite) but pity they only do plain in the family pie. Pastry is ok. Meat etc content is ok. No comparison with others on our NSW country...More

We wanted a quick breakfast and they were happy to oblige. The Avocado and Feta on Sourdough was a very generous serving and the Bacon and Egg Roll with baby Spinach was delicious and fresh.

I am not really sure. I only ate lunch, grabbed pies to take in my esky and continued through town on my home to northern NSW.

A dream to bake quality products for Dubbo residents started with a bag of flour in 1918 when Bill, Robert and John Stevenson’s grandfather Francis Oswald ‘Aussie’ Stevenson started a small bakery in Tooraweenah. One Hundred years later the Stevenson family remains an iconic part of the baking industry in central west NSW and continues to offer its customers more variety and choice of freshly baked local products, Today, Village Bakery Café stands as an industry and local business leader, dedicated to our staff, our customers and most of all our local community.
