We went to this venue again for lunch, last time was pre covid. Staff were friendly, food great at a reasonable price. All in all a geat experience.

We went to the Soldiers club for lunch ...It was advertised for $15 for Sunday roast ...we were truly disgusted ..We got two small pieces of thin pork about 4 whole tiny shrivelled potatoes and 2 small slices of broccoli ...I was so disgusted afterwards...that we accepted the meals and didnt ask for a refund ....it wasnt even enough for a child ....More

We have been to the soldiers club lots of time before but have never been treated the way we were tonight. We were sat in the lounge area and wanted to order food - it has never been a problem before. I queued up and...was told to order at the cafe because we were in the lounge area. I moved to the cafe where I waited patiently behind a member of staff who ordered his food and then before I could order another member of staff jumped the queue to pick up a VIP order for people playing the pokies. 15 mins later when I tried to order I was told that I couldn’t order my food there anymore, I questioned this and a manager walked up and just said our buzzers aren’t working, you have to sit in the bistro. When I said I was told to order here by a member of staff the manager said ‘she is just a young woman and doesn’t know’ There was no apology and so we left and went to the Thai restaurant down the road and the food was amazing.More

Very disappointing. We have eaten here quiet offen when it was Venu 180 food was amazing then, but now it has gone back to Gold Po Loy??? They had the restaurant some time ago and we stopped eating there then because the meals weren't good....My wife and I thought we would try them again but nothing has changed with this mob,meals were terrible. My wife had a roast pork dinner, half the plate was cold undercooked broccolinni and the pork was so tough you couldn't cut it .Sent it back to the kitchen replaced with a simple fish and chips but this was just as bad greasy fish tasteless salad. I had satay prawns, small prawns zucchini, broccoli and cauliflower??Sorry these vegetables dont belong in a Satay,and it cost $32.00!! Sorry won't be back Bring back Venu 180. PLEASEMore

Lunch meal was very disappointing as I ordered satay chicken and my husband ordered 400 gm rump. The chicken was precooked roast chicken pieces which did not look good or taste nice in a tasteless sauce, my husband’s steak was s tough he should not...cut it properly or chew it. Complained and told the steak as from Queensland and the chef was trying a new way for the satay chicken (cheats way) We were not impressed and given money back for the steak. As tourists we won’t go back or recommend . Told my locals that it’s a hit and miss with meals more misses than hits.More

Stylish, bayside club with a great atmosphere, fantastic food and unmatched service. My Wife and I were on holiday at Batemans Bay and called in for afternoon cocktails. We decided to stay and dine in the Bistro but had no reservation however we were immediately...seated and promptly served our starters of prawn cocktail and duck spring rolls which were beautifully presented. Next we both opted for the blackboard offering of beef cheeks which we had once before in a 3-hat restaurant and these were easily equal to if not better. Definitely on our list to return here as we believe it cannot be beaten on the South Coast of NSWMore

We had dinner there a Saturday night and food was sensational. We ordered mango salsa scallops and garlic cheesey pizza for starters. The mains were garlic creamy prawns with rice, salt and pepper calamari as well as middle eastern spiced prawns with salad. Omg, the...prawns were so big and fresh. There were 9 pieces of fresh ( not frozen) large prawns. The scallops were so fresh and delicious. The middle eastern spiced prawns were so much of flavours. Every single dish was yummy and the service was amazing. Being a Saturday night, we only waited for 10 minutes for our starters and staff were very attentive too.More

Dined out at the Soldiers Club tonight with my husband and a friend from Melbourne. Waited in a long line for ages to get a table then a longer line to order our meals .. that was fair, it being a public holiday, but let...me tell you, the meal was worth it. We had creamy garlic prawns and my husband had the calamari. The meals were generous and absolutely delicious. Will definitely become a regular and I’d highly recommend the food and service. My hairdresser is also situated at the soldiers club, and for a club in a small town, it’s absolutely superb.More

The club is massive, but don’t be put off. We had the best meals of our journey here. We got there at the peak of dinner time, with a long queue! However surprisingly we enjoying our meals shortly after. The place is very efficient and...the staff welcoming. Great work.More

We chose to revisit the Vue 180 restaurant at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club for lunch recently. We note the menu has changed since the last visit and the price has increased for the lunch specials. We chose two meals from the lunch menu, which...were the chicken satay and the fettucine. We were disappointed in the food compared to previous visits. The service was prompt and the setting is very good.More

1 - got there at 8.05pm and “it was to busy” so not allowed in, be careful if you are goi g to eat there because you maybe caught out, can’t judge the food, there was lots of empty tables as well

Arrived 5.30pm, quickly seated before the rush, quality servings at very reasonable prices, especially the seafood.
