Went to order a supreme pizza for take out. She advised us 10-15 minutes it will be ready. Asked the waiter to see if it was ready and she said I will check for you….. nothing after 30 minutes walked in and asked she said just coming out I can wait outside she will bring by it to us…. 15 minutes later nothing asked another waiter is it ready she advised she will bring it out… 45 minutes wait decide to go inside and ask and it was ready and sitting in top of the stove. Pizza was nice but the service was not so nice

Went out side to site as we had our dog Bailey ,was great looking at Batemans Bay .
the staff so friendly and made us and Bailey most welcomed, thank you guys .
the best part Service was quick and the pizza ‘s so lovely thin crust and yummy , complements to the chef ❤️
would defiantly recommend to all when staying in Batemans bay , thank you again staff

Delicious food, great service and a very popular spot. We were overnighting in Batemans Bay and Sam’s was recommended by a local. Really glad we went and we were lucky enough to get a table although we hadn’t booked - and the place was really busy on a Sunday night. The place is super-popular and the food is great. Recommend it.

This is a second time to Sam's, first time very happy with our dinner. We booked two weeks in advance and were placed at the table right opposite the kitchen (very noisy with the exhaust fan and customers paying), so I wonder of the timeframe to get a table in a better position? Very friendly staff as always, drinks and nibbles came very fast, then second round of drinks came very fast, then a long, long time till our meals (mostly pizza's) came, delicious of course. Very disapponted with how long our meals took, yes it was Easter Saturday (and paying ph surcharge was told when booked) and surely more kitchen staff could be appointed in this busy period. My husband estimated at least 40 takeaway pizza's were cooked and brought, by the time we received our meal. We wont book a table again, we will just order takeaway and enloy at home.

Just to let you know, Easter weekend is the busiest weekend of the whole year so I defiantly know that I have the correct amount of kitchen staff on.
Our kitchen works so that when we receive an order from restaurant diners we do these before takeaway orders, but in this case you ordered entrees, so what we do is your entrees first and while you are enjoying these we tend to takeaway orders , we want our guests to sit and enjoy there meals and to not send your food out fast. We are not fast food here, it seems you sat there and just counted takeaways after takeaways. But once we know you have enjoyed your entrees we then proceed to making your mains. Yes Easter weekend is very busy, so this wait is a little longer then normal .
We book out months in advance for Easter weekend, so the table you were allocated was close to one of the last tables we had left.
Next time if you are in a rush we suggest maybe just letting the waitress know so we know not to
Wait on your mains. Happy holidays

Our family of 4 (children 10 and 8), strolled along the water at Batemans bay last night and were super lucky to get a table outside at Sam’s. The place was buzzing and the service was friendly. While our kids would have like their pizza to come faster, once it arrived there was silence as they smashed a family size bbq meat lovers pizza. We asked for the popular pasta dish and the fettuccine bolognese was recommended so we tried this too. It was a hit x 4.
Cannot recommend enough, wish we had tried this place on our first night here so we could come back and try more!

Been here a few times over the years. During lockdown it has had a bit of a revamp, looks good. Service always very good. I went with a couple of relatives for dinner, busy as usual, always book. Had a Em's pizza on gf pizza, very tasty but I thought the gf base was a bit small for the $27 price. Surely larger ones could be sourced. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended.

We ordered take-away and weren’t disappointed. We knew when we were told we would wait an hour to pick up our pizza that they were either super slow, or it was going to be really good. Fortunately it was the latter. We enjoyed the BBQ Chicken, Hawaiian, Seafood Marinara and cheesy garlic pizzas. Great portions, enough to feed a family of 5.
Our only complaint...they aren’t open on Tuesday’s!!!!!

Our family (and dog) visited Batemans Bay for the first time in January 2023, for 3 nights.
On the recommendation of the owner of our accommodation, we had dinner at Sams Pizza on the first night.
And then returned on the third (i.e last) night also.
So now, on a wedding anniversary holiday, my husband and I returned to Batemans Bay, and our first phone call (literally!) was to book our first night dinner at Sam’s.
Sam’s Pizza is just a joy.
It is not fine dining. It is just a wonderfully fine hospitality experience.
The food is yummy, the shiraz is addictive, the young staff SO helpful, accommodating, cheerful and friendly, and the view is blissful. We LOVED every bit of the 3 experiences.
One of those places that just stay like a patch of sunshine in your memory box.
Love it!

Tonight I was in the mood for seafood pasta, and this is what I had at Sams. I enjoyed the ala carte spegetti floured with its sea food and seasonings. topped off with
Parmigiana. later sitting back enjoying the nautical surrounds . A special thank you to the staff for making me feel relaxed and very welcomed.

Brilliant, buzzy pizzeria on the waterfront at Batemans Bay. We booked as it was clearly a popular restaurant. I requested a gluten free pizza, and it was delivered without any surcharge. Hubby’s pasta was first class. We can’t recommend more highlySam’s Pizzeria on the waterfront at Bateman’s Bay.

We ordered two large pizzas take away as the restaurant was booked Friday evening.
The pizza as always was fantastic, highly recommend the PM Special.
We always receive friendly service, eat in or take away when we visit Sam's Pizzeria.
Highly recommend when your visiting the Bay & have a craving for good quality pizza.

Our Family had our last holiday night dinner and it was fantastic. Despite sitting outside on a rainy evening the staff did everything to make us comfortable. The pizzas were tasty and fresh and gelato delicious.

We visited no less than three times in five days, such is the quality of the cuisine at this restaurant. The garlic chilli prawns are served in the pot. They were tender, fresh and clearly done in quality olive oil. They were absolutely delicious! The PM Special pizza had a thin, authentic base with fresh, flavoursome topping and perfectly crispy prosciutto. Yum! We also had rocket and Greek salads, which were fresh and delightful. The service is outstanding and the pricing is reasonable. Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

We resort to Sam’s from time to time. The service and atmosphere are great. Pizza toppings are very nice but sometimes too oily. It’s too bad they have really poor bases. The flavour of them is good but the texture is somewhere between shoe leather and a ceramic tile. I really wish they would change their pizza dough because it spoils what would otherwise be very nice pizzas.

Well I have to say that being Italian I am very demanding about pizza, as normal. I had as starter some cantabrian artichokes and these are boxed and served so nothing ti say.
Pizza was crispy, nothing to deal with original Italian receipt but not so bad. I will not return but I can understood the people like it.
Wise merchandising.
