While I enjoyed this morning's breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns, mushrooms and bacon ... it is exactly the same as two months ago and the two months before ... can I suggest some elements change to give regulars some variety.

A beautiful stately home in the grounds of UNE. Great stop for coffee on the terrace. Lovely staff. Busy lunch shop so it can take a little time for your order to arrive, but worth the wait. Slightly odd menu, but the food is lovely....$15 buffet on a Friday is excellent value.More
The restaurant at Booloominbah has a sensible selection of reasonably priced food. The real bonus is the magnificent building and surrounds where you can enjoy well manicured gardens and friendly people.
Breakfast was very reasonably priced. A great assortment, eggs were good, mushrooms were great although could have been warmer. Coffee was perfect. The place was not busy and parking was easy. Staff were friendly. A good selection of cakes made on the premises.
Stopped by for a coffee and lunch. Beautiful old house in serene gardens. Pleasant light and airy dining room. Frindly unobtrusive waitstaff. Limited lunch menu with enough variety. We enjoyed all our meals. Gluten free, vegan options available. Battered fish 'n' chips and Sweet potato...and pecan salad.More
Working business lunch in popular Bool location where parking is difficult. Staff attentive, coffee pleasant, generous servings of well presented delicious fare rated as 12/10. Wine list available.
Usually my stop for a morning coffee, I decided I'd treat myself to some lunch. I chose to takeaway, because I had a short lunch break and thought I could chow down at my desk. The waitress was very polite and helpful, as are most...of the female staff there. The gentleman at the counter was a little prickly though, and often is in my past experience. It was a little busy and it took a little while to receive my food - about 15min. Still gave me enough time to get back to the office and eat. I'm going to be brutally honest - I expected more. I paid $19.50 for 3 chicken nuggets, some under dressed coleslaw and chips. The chicken itself was very chewy, though the seasoning was nice. The dipping sauce that came with the meal was nice with some fresh herbs in it. I really feel like I've wasted my money. I'm still hungry and my bank account is $20 lighter. Might just stick to the coffee in the future.More
Table service is fine. Food to the table is slow. The menu is odd to say the least - perhaps trying to be inventive but alls short. Food quality is not good. Really should stick with a 'parmy and chips' as that is what they...seem to serve up well.More
This historic building on the University of New England campus, used to be heading into disrepair. However it has been revamped, and it is soo good that it is being used well again. We went for lunch, and it was really well done. Service was...prompt and courteous. I had a goat cheese, tomato tart with a nicoise salad, and it was delicious. Others tried the special pot pies...today's were steak and mushroom...and they were enjoyed as well. The place was packed with students and profs...so it is a great place for all to visit and enjoy some conversation.More
Delicious breakfast, lovely ambience in the historic old mansion. Also great takeaway options and good coffee.
Booloominbah is located in a impressive heritage-listed buildings at the heart of the Uni of New England. It is a bit out of town and parking might be problem if you are not familiar with the campus. That said, it is definitely worth the trouble...of checking out. Once inside, the attention to detail with the decor matches the grandeur of the exterior. Service can be a little patchy, but everything on the menu is top notch, starting with the coffee. They offer an extensive all-day breakfast menu as well as blackboard specials that included soups and crumbed lamb cutlets when I visited. As well as an (excellent) flat white I went for the sourdough bruschetta with spinach, grilled tomatoes and sauteed mushrooms. No complaints at all.More
A truly excellent place to dine in Armidale in the University Environment. There is the Limerick bar, the restaurant and the courtyard cafe The only negative is the parking being fairly restricted and i think the lunch closes about 2- 30pm When in Armidale it...is something i always look forward to - a meal or just a snack and coffee here as it is always a pleasure/treat to visit this placeMore
