Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Day 1 of our son attending National Rugby Camp we had lunch here and it was great. The staff were all young and friendly with a huge selection of drinks on top. for lunch i had Grilled Chicken Burger, which was huge and the chicken...cooked and juicy. My wife had the charchu pork special, which was full of flavour. Day 2 of camp and we met some other parents here again for lunch, once again the food was fantastic, we had; Chicken Caesar Wrap, Thai Beef Salad, Chicken Schnitzel and Barramundi. all the dishes were big serves and tasted amazing. Again the staff were friendly and drinks were cold. Day 3 and we attended as a family for dinner - the boy wanted steak after camp finished. the place was packed and really busy but the staff were happy and we were told it would be an hour wait for steaks, we didn't mind so we ordered some entrée of Popcorn chicken and garlic bread - the popcorn chicken were chicken tenders chopped up but still good. I had Eye Fillet and it was cooked perfectly medium and was very tender, the boy had Santa Maria steak, also perfectly medium and my wife had Salmon salad which she loved. All the food came out in under an hour and the service was friendly. 100% would go backMore

Packed when we arrived, we were grateful for a table on a Friday night of a grad weekend and a heatwave. Unfortunately food (vego nachos) and husband had a chicken dish) was average- nachos were especially bland. The air con struggled with the crowds and...kitchen struggled to make a timely delivery of meals. We struggled to hear each other above the din. Overall an unsatisfying evening and somewhat uncomfortable.More

This is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had in my 70 years. The food (ordered via QR code on the table) came in shifts to the guests, spread over one hour. The last to arrive were children's meals! The final delivery...came only after complaining to the server manager in the kitchen. As for the food, the potatoes and carrots were rock hard and with no garnish. The plate of the grilled salmon meal was covered in salt (see photo), but the fries on the childrens' burgers were unsalted. Avoid this place unless you want poor food and rubbish service in a noisy pub.More

This is a great hotel in the middle of town. The food was excellent with a large choice of dishes. We got there at 6.00pm and got a table easily, by 6.30pm it was packed, shows how good ot is.

Thought i would stop in on what i thought would be a quiet Monday night, this place was rec commended from the hotel, i has to walk past 2 pubs to get there so it would want to be good, and it was. the place...was packed!, i had to get the kid taking the orders to find me a table which can always be hard when you are by yourself in a busty pub. The steak was probably the best i have ever had, and the beer was cold with a large range on offer - well done. The only bad thing is those brown leather stools in the bar area are dreadful to sit onMore

I Had a very tasty little rump steak at this excellent restaurant tonight. My 250g steak was perfectly cooked, tender, just the right size meal including chips salad & and pepper sauce. Even though it was quite busy, our meals came to the table in...a reasonable time. Service was friendly & all the staff seem to enjoy working there. A very pleasant overall dining experience. I’d come back & recommend it to anyone who enjoys a quality steak.More

Extremely popular spot, supposedly the best chef in town. You have to ask for cutlery when you order and despite explaining an allergy was still given the food I asked not to be put on my plate and had to send it back. When it...returned they had decided to also remove the sauce from the schnitzel in case it also contained the allergy product but offered nothing as an alternative sauce so the schnitzel was dry without any sauce. The place was crowded and the food looked good as the various plates were taken by my table.More

Exactly what we wanted from a pub meal. Servings were generous, food was very well cooked and there was a great selection of drinks available. Lively atmosphere, all tables filled, seems very popular.

Delicious wagyu sirloin special of the night served with a generous green salad and a side of fries. Hubby and I enjoy the experience, the venue was full and lively. Not really suitable for a quiet and romantic dinner, but beer on tap, wine and...a loud music together with a big dash of live footy on screen, the venue is far from boring and load of atmosphere with customers from all age brackets. You must book to get a table. Food choice is wide enough to satisfy hungry taste buds and affordable enough as not to feel guilty.More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Also, we have a beautiful restaurant directly upstairs where you can enjoy a romantic dinner for two, it's called Manny's On Marsh!

Despite arriving at 8:45pm, the bistro accommodated our meal requests and quickly served our fish and chips. Good portion size, tasty, and hot; a little noisy but it is a pub, not a restaurant. Recommended.
