One of the most exquisite dining experiences I've had. Staff were very attentive to all our needs. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented with generous portions and fantastic flavour.
Such a beautiful atmosphere for a special romantic dinner or just a get together...with friends. Everything was just perfect.More
Was a very busy Sunday night, very understaffed and under prepared. Food was good, steak was overcooked. Amazing wine list and menu read well.
Service was an issue, my waiter who looked like a young manager or manager in training was amazing, friendly despite being...clearly run off his feet. Still managed to make my wife and I feel special despite waiting on nearly the entire restaurant whilst other staff stood and watched.
Drinks service was poor and slow despite two bartenders. Wine took 20mins to arrive. Maybe be put more staff on. Solid without being amazing but lots of potentialMore
I found this place via TripAdvisor.
Everything about this place was amazing.
From the moment I walked in the door, unshaven and no reservation, the staff were exemplary. So polite, courteous and welcoming.
The story of the place is quite interesting and worth a quick...read.
I ordered the Wagyu Sirloin. It is sourced from a local farm at Jack’s Creek, who have won the ‘World Steak Challenge’ twice.
I can’t remember ever having a better meal or an overall better experience.
A MUST DO in Armidale.
My only complaint is that this place isn’t t closer to where I live 😀More
We stayed at this beautiful place. The dinner was the best I had had in ages. The wine list was good ( we had a French Chablis). The staff are really well trained and very professional even though they are all very young. Well done!
Our stay at the Tatts was definaly one to remember. The hotel has been meticulously refurbished. The classic art deco style made one feel so fabulous from the foyer to the room.
In the rooms there was nothing but perfection. Bed, pillows, linen and towels...were all luxurious. There was even robes provided. Not just any robes though, they were just divinely soft. The overhead shower was amazing and so big.
There was a coffee machine (i was in heaven) and mini bar.
The room was well set out and oh so quiet. We even got a weather report from reception.
The rooms are above average price but if you want to spoil yourself, it's well worth it.
We dined downstairs in the restaurant. It was a busy night but we were still tended to well and the meal was lovely.
Such a wonderful place for a romantic night away. I would definitely stay there again.More
My husband and I stopped in for what we were anticipating to be a counter meal and were delightfully surprised to find a menu with beautiful French cuisines/sauces/flavours.
We shared the cheese and meat platter, mussels and prawn tagliatelle.
Everything was divine!!
We were staying nearby and this was recommended.
My husband had the 200g scotch fillet with a truffle flavoured sauce and asparagus, cooked rare the way he likes it (not many chefs manage "rare " well) I
I had tempura battered whiting and prawns. Perfect...crispy batter with a garlic and anchovy sauce, I was concerned the anchovy flavour would overpower the garlic but the flavours were perfectly balanced. The evening was made perfect by friendly and attentive Mackenzie, nothing was a problem. All in all a lovely experience.More
The hotel has a beautiful restaurant and bar also open to the general public. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but had some cocktails there and the décor and service was impeccable. The decaf expresso martini in particular was exceptional. The service and art deco...design and furnishings was exceptionalMore
