Thought we'd drop in for something to eat on our way home and so glad we did! The variety, quality and prices were amazing! Was very impressed with their abundance of GF choices. The portions were very generous and the food was delicious. The added...extra entertainment with the planes taking off and landing and some amazing Air Force aircraft exercises was incredible. Friendly staff and good good.

Wife and I were in the area for a holiday and went to the fighter museum. We tried the Cafe and was surprised by the quality of the food and very friendly staff. We came back a few days later for lunch due to the...food and serviceMore

Disappointing

Wanted a nice lunch prior to a flight (not in the airport) and cam across the Fighter Beans cafe. Walked in and had a good vibe. Unfortunately the meals we ordered varied from average to bad. A Peri Peri Chicken Burger not only had no...spice apparent but the actual chicken was pink and not fully cooked. The bun for the burger was at least twice the size needed for the contents and was spongey and horrible, the cheese was not melted, the lettuce was as limp and the tomato was not ripe. The minuscule amount of avocado on the burger was at leat fresh and ended up being the only part of the burger finished. The lasagna ordered was delivered by the waitress and she stated that the "lasagna was deconstructed" this translated to it was either the end piece that had been microwaved to buggery and fallen apart or it was dropped prior to putting on the serving plate. Either way it looked terrible and didn't taste much better. The most successful dish was the MASSIVE serve of stodgy undercooked corn fritters. The avocado again was the star of the dish and like the other two meals the majority was left on the plate. Despite an offer of getting napkins after delivering the meals these never came and we went and got them ourselves. The staff were so busy on their phone or talking with each other they clearly didn't care that so much food was uneaten and NO-ONE bothered to check on us or see if anything was wrong. The coffee was the best item ordered. Needless to sy we won't be back.More

Good resturant with big portions of food

We visited this on Friday or the Easter 2022 long weekend. The resturant was not full, but had quite a few customers. We ordered the double cheese burger, grilled chicken burger, fish and chips and coffee. The service was fast and the portions were big....The staff felt a bit tired and less on care, as the coffee spilt everywhere by the time the wait staff brought to our table. We loved the burgers, huge and tasty. Would definitely recommend to eat here, if visiting Fighterworld.More

Friendly and very accommodating for intolerances.

Fantastic service and food! I have a few intolerances which makes eating out difficult but these guys couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful. The food was delicious and the friendly service was even better. Highly recommend!

Good choice

Right next door to Fighterworld, this café does a great job providing reasonably priced snacks to both Fighterworld patrons and locals. Wraps, panini’s fried options, salads. Not worth bothering to take your own meal when visiting unless you’re on a tight budget or have very...specific dietary requirements.More

Nice

Stopped in at Fighter world, and arrived sooner than expected. Noticed the cafe and we went in out of the rain. Good variety of food and clean premises. Eight of us had varying meals which were plentiful and delicious. My only suggestion would be toasted...buns for your delicious bacon and egg rolls, my Grandson said the same thing. The toilets were VERY clean and pleasant to use.More

Small cafe with lots of variety

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat before going to Fighter World. Lots of variety including burgers, cakes, hot chips and drinks. Also quite a variety of GF options. Food came out quickly and was well presented and reasonably priced (b&e roll was...a hit!)More

Coffee and Jets...perfect

Enjoyed a great coffee and many, many jets flying around. Taking iff and landing. It was surreal seeing them so close. My little boys loved it here.

Regular visitor never disappointed

We visit this cafe anytime we are in the Newcastle area! Never disappoints always amazing and great service! Lovely coffee and food fresh and tasty. Worth a visit family friendly with indoor and outdoor tables and takeaway available.

Great Coffee and cake
