Bit pricy and fairly limited menu choice. However friendly and efficient service and a spectacular setting. Views from the restaurant are not as nice as eating in the bar

I can strongly recommend the parmesan crusted blue cod and the cheesecake from this restaurant. Unfortunately before I remembered to take this photo I had already eastern a little of the meal. It actually looked even better than this! The fish is the best tasting fish I've ever ordered from a restaurant (and I often choose fish), and the cheesecake... More

Staff are awesome. Particularly Gabby from Dorset who's enjoying life in NZ. Food was excellent. No oysters the first night. Massive storm hitting NZ so understood. Second night, Gabby made sure she held back oysters for us. And they were delicious. Cheeky little Rose to accompany the seafood. A must do if you're visiting the island.

This is the one and only pub in Oban and a great place to eat and visit. The seafood is superb (they do have non sea food on offer as well but you shouldn't miss the local specials), and the view over the sandy beach with boats bobbing in the harbour glorious by any standards. The dining room is quiet... More

The restaurant serves delicious burgers and desserts. Although it was quite packed the food came rather quick. Taken together a good and tasty experience.

The Hotel is the focus of the town. It is a good spot for a coffee, a meal or something a bit stronger! The coffee was top notch. The pub menu includes the beautiful blue cod the island is famous for. The pub meals are big and really good value. The staff are good sorts and always friendly. The Sunday... More

There is a great view out across the harbour from the front room of the restaurant. The back room is rather like a canteen. We ate here twice. I was not impressed by the blue cod in beer batter, which my son had recommended as the best he had ever eaten in his life! But the Glory Bay mussels were... More

We enjoyed a very good meal, drinks and dessert in the pub. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We happened to be there on a busy Sunday evening and also participated in Quiz Night. Great fun!
