We had awesome service and the food was absolutely amazing. All our meals were cooked to perfection and delicious. The flavours were incredible in all our mains and desserts and the value for money was excellent Could not speak highly enough of this restaurant and...is a must visit when in Queenstown. Thank you so much to all the staff at Captains for a very dining experienceMore

Had lunch here last week and the food was delicious! We ordered a beef burger and steak, the steak was cooked perfectly! Staff were friendly and the restaurant has a pleasant ambience. Would definitely visit again :)

We had a delicious meal last night, I had a craving for seafood and my husband for steak and this fit the bill! We started with oysters (tempura and raw) which were lovely. Hubby had the rib eye with peppercorn sauce which was huge and...very well cooked. I had the entree sized scallops and also the entree sized prawns as I couldn’t decide, the prawns were the highlight for me. Finished with a lemon cheesecake to share which was amazingly good. Staff were very helpful as well, highly rate this restaurant.More

We stumbled upon this place and didn't regret the choice. We even broke our 'travel rule' of 'don't visit the same eatery twice'! Two nights and both times we had great service from Matko our waiter and really good food! First night we shared the...surf (half crayfish) and turf... our son had the pasta - we were all super happy. The next night... I had the eye fillet steak with blue cheese butter and I almost cried... it was so good! I can't remember what the others had... mine was so good I didn't care ha ha.More

Good food and relaxed ambience. Star of the show was the service, especially Maeve. Keep up the good work

Great food and service! Loved the mains - ordered lamb, pork and fish of the day specials.😁 The apple pie dessert was just WOW! A must-try! Most of all, the friendly service of Maeve was outstanding.♥️ Looking forward to our next Queenstown visit here…

We were a group of 9, 2 families with 5 children. We were seated in the private space at the back of the restaurant, which was great for a large group. The service was excellent and friendly . The food was delicious. They also have...a good kids menu. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Queenstown.More

Very disappointed with my seafood chowder, not a prawn or anything resembling “seafood” looked like soup from a tin and at $29!,definitely Not worth the money, luckily the other three meals ordered were much better especially the Ribs ordered by my husband.

Had an early dinner here. Service and food was exceptional. We had the chowder and calamari both were very large portions.
