The service was great, the kai (food) outstanding and the cocktails made the night. Friendly easy going and informed staff, and the sharing plates made the meal simple. The décor is very cool and the Pasifika / Aotearoa take on classic food dishes was amazing....Will be back for sure. Everyone that heard we were heading to Queenstown said it was a great spot and it is.More

I this restaurant online for 6pm mid week but would have preferred 7pm which was not showing - only 8pm onwards. I called the restaurant at 5pm when it opened to change however it went to Answerphone. Error # 1 The Manager (no less!) called...back …but only long enough (1 second!!) to register having called and before I could pickup. I phoned again but again it went to Answerphone so I emailed asking for a later booking. Error # 2 - An email was returned by her a little later however it stated the latest I could arrive was 6.30pm …but that I had to leave by 7.30 pm!! As this was not a 1st Table booking I should not have been given a leave time. Error #3 Upon arriving at the restaurant having not seen the email anyway, the manager was very curt towards me. I informed the waitress I was pretty unimpressed so far. Whilst the manager did bring a complimentary glass of bubbles to my table and then upon leaving told me the (very spicy Pork Belly) Bill had been taken care of, the damage had been done. Therefore in my experience this restaurant is over-rated both in its food (I had beautiful Pork Belly dishes at 2 other high- end restaurants in Queenstown to compare) and in it’s service.More

Restaurant was chosen by our daughter who was celebrating her 21st birthday. We found the atmosphere was superb and the staff friendly and very efficient. They were happy to make an extra effort for our daughters 21st. The food was great and served in a...leisurely pace. suggestions from our waitress were appreciated. We would certainly visit again when in Queenstown.More

4 of us ate here last night. The food and cocktails were really great and topped off by great service as well. 4 entrees and two mains was plenty for us. The food does come out as it is ready so recommend ordering in two...parts so you don’t just keep getting plates coming. Also was a bit annoying that the greens we ordered didn’t come until the meat dishes had been finished .Small criticism overallMore

Both the food and service were exceptional. What a fabulous experience. The staff couldn’t have done more. Not to be missed. Our best meal in Queenstown.

Great dinning atmosphere with some interesting Asian dishes with a pacific fusion. Loved the salmon and pork belly dishes the most, but that’s me. A must try when in Queenstown for sure.

Our family had a wonderful time! We order 3 mocktails, an apple juice and a couple of meals to share, all which were delicious. The calamari was the best I’ve ever tasted. Our waitress was attentive and helped us pick out great food, and dessert....Well worth your money!More

looked at tripadvisor for recommendations on where my family and i should go to dinner and found blue kanu taking the no. 1 spot which i later found out was for a good reason. the food is slightly pricy for the portion, but the flavour...and quality of the dishes was truly amazing. the service was great and we had a fantastic night. shoutout to the bartender who made the best esspresso martini ive had!More

We went for dinner and loved the decor and vibes of this restaurant. The staff were super friendly and gave great service. The Asian/ pacific island fusion food was so flavoursome and creative. We had oysters, fried chicken, prawn toast and 2 rounds of dumplings....My 13 year old asked if we can go here every time we come to Queenstown. We will definitely be back.More
