My wife and I had the pleasure of going to Halo for breakfast recently. It was a bright sunny morning and the outdoor area is quiet and relaxing. The food is great with many having gluten free options available. The service was prompt, engaging but not overbearing. We would likely return again.

This ended up being my go to coffee shop. Great food, great staff. Very well run all around. I ate about three separate dishes there, all very good.

The amount of food you get for breakfast was quite large - too much to eat for us. The avocado smash had numerous avocado slices - but they were cold so it made the whole dish rather chilly. Toast was also burnt on one side. The indoor dining area is pretty small - and very sunny and hot on a... More

My girlfriend and I are the biggest fans of this place. Grace, the waitress made us feel so welcome and her service was possibly the best we've received in the world... and we have travelled far! The breakfast burrito is a must for any hungry waker!!! Best restaurant in Queenstown... love you guys.

The numbers of locals here for breakfast tells you a lot! Good menu selection and service. Choice of indoor and outdoor eating. A very short walk away from the lakefront and the bustle of central Qtown, it has more of a calm about it than many. How appropriate for something attached to a church complex. You wouldn't know it, but... More

The restaurant looked great as we passed by but we found nothing inspiring about the food we ordered for dinner. Great location and nice outdoor patio.

Fabulous breakfast menu and great coffee. Muesli and porridge served in massive proportions. Saw me through the day no problem. Thick toast and the eggs benedict looked great too. Nice urban, relaxed feel about the place.

Found out this cafe via trip advisor so I gave it a try during my one week stay in Queenstown. Been there for breakfast lunch dinner beverage few times - delicious food and chillaxing environment. Great coffee. Definitely recommend!

I always go to Halo whenever I am in Queenstown. Their breakfast/brunch is consistently good and they never fail to make a great coffee - all at a reasonable price. Service is always with a smile and there is the choice of indoor or outdoor seating (for warmer days). And not to forget the freshly squeezed orange juice which is... More
