Called in for some Southland sushi, loved the cheese rolls. They were fresh, delicious and good value. All the food in the cabinets looked good. I'll return next time I'm in town.

We had the BEST omelet and coffee here before heading off though The Catlins on the Bottom Bus!! Great way to start the day. Their staff are friendly and the cafe is clean and warm. We will be back!!

My partner and I regularly visit Sass cafe for breakfast. The big breakfast fills me up and tastes like a real english breakfast. The hash browns and bacon are superb. Easily the best breakfast in invercargill. Only downside is there not open on a sunday. 5/5 star rating

Good value food - pleasant staff. Good option for lunch - reasonably priced. Try the Winter Special : Butterscotch Hot Chocolate! It may look busy, but check it out, there is an upstairs too - with comfortable sofa's to relax a bit.

On our way down the coast, stopped in Invercargill for a little bite to eat. Super windy city and looking forward to some coffee/smoothie after a long drive. Went to Sass Cafe and asked if they had anything vegan. They were very nice and accommodating staff. They had a salad option and the Minestrone soup. When the soup came, there... More

Really enjoyed this cafe, staff were friendly and nothing was an issue. Food was great and arrived to the table promptly. Would recommend the slices and the cheese rolls.
