We were served by beautiful young people, students from university. The scones with lovely cut-up fruit and lots of cream were delicious, as was the coffee. The setting of the colourful gardens was wonderful.

A few days break in Dunedin and picked Glenfalloch to have our final evening meal (Thursday). The garden location is lovely, even during the evening and the restaurant interior has been beautifully refurbished. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. We opted for the 5 course chefs choice and were spoilt by 6 very distinct dishes full of flavour with... More

Visited Glenfalloch not knowing what to expect on a very rainy night in midsummer. Had the most fantastic delicious meal that was cooked to perfection, with unexpected flavours and textures that were not just there for the sake of it but really complimented the dish. Exciting, modern and satisfying food that made our night. Service was incredibly friendly and helpful... More

We just had our wedding here last week, and it was absolutely wonderful. Melanie is an amazing co-coordinator. When we realized it was going to rain, she executed our back-up plan perfectly, which took all the stress off us. She even came in especially on her day off for our rehearsal. The food was fantastic, best dessert we have ever... More

It was a totally out of the blue idea to visit the Glenfalloch Garden on our trip, but it was great. Great stroll in the garden and a wonderful lunch in the restaurant. The pumpkin soup was just delicious.

I understand the name Glenfalloch is gaelic and means "hidden valley". For anyone travelling on the low road (Portobello Road) down the Otago Peninsula the clear signage on the roadside should alert them to a gem of a place. Sadly, no doubt, some drive on by without realizing what they are missing. For those who do turn into the well... More

Went with a large group for lunch. Enjoyed a drink in the back terrace and then into the restaurant for a set menu of lamb, salmon and vegetables followed by dessert. Everything was delicious and well presented. Service was very good. Clean toilets. Can't comment on the cost because I didn't pay. Enjoyed a few minutes after the meal to... More

On a cold stormy night we entered the tastefully renovated restaurant for one of the best meals in Dunedin for sometime. Opted for the Chief's choice 3 course. A good choice it was. Completely different from any of the main menu items. We could not fault the food or the service. Well done
