Our party of six went to The Villas tonight to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was lovely and quite, we were able to park right outside the door, the service was excellent and the food... well the best meats we had had for ages. We had a GrabOne voucher so on top of a fabulous night out,... More

Great service and atmosphere helped us enjoy our last lunch in New Zealand. Offered sun screen before ordering as bright sunshine. Great food and drink.

Was our wedding anniversary so looking for a special night out. Wife suggested The Villas so off we go. Had a upstairs table in the newly extended part of the restaurant. What followed was great food and wine backed up by great service. Met our expectations. Two weeks later looking for a dinner location for a larger group (16) -... More

Great service and atmosphere helped us enjoy a special occasion with friends. The Pork Belly was meaty and well cooked with plenty of Crackle to go round the table. I sampled the Beef cheeks and they were divine also. Finished with Creme Brulee yummmmmmmy. Will definitely be back.

Popped in on a rainy Sunday for some lunch. I would recommend booking as otherwise we wouldn't have got a table. Great food, prompt service, lovely atmosphere and an interesting fresh menu. Portions were generous, and skillfully prepared. Can't wait to come back for dinner!!

I can be particular however this restaurant met all my expectations and more. Location good, mid city, old house restored, larger and smaller rooms. Pleasant staff who were efficient, and service good. The food divine, superbly cooked and presented. Wine, duck main, desert, coffee all only $37.00 under the first tables scheme. They menu was hard to pick from as... More

I came here for a drink with a friend - I can't speak for the coffee but the smoothie I got was not what i expected. The "berry smoothie" seemed to be majority banana and yogurt, with very little in the way of berries. It was thick and gluggy, not a nice texture at all. I wouldn't go back here,... More

Had lunch here yesterday. This place used to be a favourite of ours but sadly both the food and the service have slipped. The food used to be innovative, interesting, well cooked and excellent value. The grilled halloumi salad yesterday was very small and not worth the money at all. The smoked chicken salad was much better but still doesn't... More

I've traveled the world many times over and just have zero patience now for bad service. When I had to flag the server down to get my salad to be returned (it was dripping in dressing), she looked confused, took it away, but not before mumbling something to the other servers who laughed about it. She brought a new salad... More
