Went in for lunch & ended up spending the afternoon in there. The place had a great atmosphere filtered through by the brilliant staff....working there was an old northern Irish guy entertained us showing us his little muscles but all the staff in general were really nice including a small strawberry blonde Liverpool guy. Was reasonably price & all round... More

Went with a small group who had all been before. The menu had good choices for all dietry needs. The meals were a generous size and good value for money. Beer batter fish and chips was cooked very well and served with a salad. The staff were very attentive and friendly. This is a very busy place which we booked... More

This place was rocking Friday nite. Ordered steak and sides, Guinness and speights ale. Server was good but didn't tell us about specials. Fairly priced, steak was OK, more medium then the medium rare we ordered, a little tough

The platter is a must try. Super fulling. Great price. My partner who is a huge eater and I and my cousin shared a platter and we were so full. We had already ordered our mains which we ended up taking home. Great food, highly recommended

My partner and I enjoyed a few drinks and a lunch well worth writing about. I had the pasta meal that was full of flavour a rich creamy sauce with plenty of bacon and chicken. There was no skimping here! My partner had the Cajun sandwhich, she also struggle to finish it. The customer service was also exceptional, our server... More

Didn't get up in the early hours to watch so went to the Fox and Ferret later in the morning to see the game on the big screen while enjoying what has to be up there with the best pint of Guinness available in Christchurch. Breakfast finished it off nicely. Ordered a non standard breakfast, just unadorned bacon, sausages and... More

Came here for lunch again after the movies, makes sense, no cooking for me when we get home. The pub was busier than our last visit, now that Spring has arrived everyone was sitting outside enjoying the sunshine. We both had burgers, I think my eyes were bigger than my belly and when I ordered the Fox Burger Deluxe, I... More

Hi Keiran, It's great to hear that you enjoyed your meal with us the other day. Unfortunately it sounds like the guys may have neglected to fully explain why the Stonegrills were not available. Our Stonegrill promotions are as I'm sure you can understand very popular especially the Sunday two for one deal. For the stone used on a Stonegrill... More
