My friend decided to go to Pomeroys after work for a meal. The waiter showed good knowledge of the beers available and the the food on the menu. Both our meals were faultless and it matched the service. Would I go back? Absolutely. Great food,...More

For some strange and deluded reason my loving husband thought I would thoroughly enjoy a night out at Pomeroy's to celebrate my recent return from my jaunt in Australia. I must stress that I only hold Pomeroy's in the highest of regards, but sometimes a...More

Nice friendly service in a comfortable historic building with great beers. Had the salmon and burger. Both were good but neither really excited us. The beer list of their own beers and guest beers were great. Nice live music topped it off.

This is one of my favourite pubs in Christchurch. It's one of the only ones that has captured the British welcoming pub style in the city. Fantastic beer selection and the food is great. Try the burger.

This pub is great and very popular. Get here early as the seat fill up quick. one of the best English pubs out side England. Food was great and the range of beer is fantastic. It was so good ..went back the nest day.

I like the atmosphere and decor here, but not the beer. I have tried a number of there beers but find them too bitter. Now, I you like bitter, this could be your heaven.

Nice brick building for a relax and casual setting. Large selection of craft beers, including a few beers interesting for a change.
