During the Wellington Food Festival, a friend and I explored the festival menu. Visually exciting and innovative texture contrast. High quality food with service to match for top dollar.

The décor is horribly outdated, the place is in serious need of redecoration. After playing musical chairs with the waitress I managed to find a chair that sat evenly on the floor. My main meal was the size of an entrée, but I was reliably informed that the chef weighed the steak and it was definitely 160 grams - like... More

Our first visit to Zibibbo and we won't be back in a hurry. Good points - attentive staff, ambience, the starter and dessert tapas looked and tasted good. But overall the food was average. The lamb main was OK but nothing special, the market fish was awful. Not sure how you can get a fish dish so wrong but it... More

High standard of food, ambience and service. We both chose the duck, but there were many other tempting choices. Don't miss the Tapas for entrée - unbeatable!!

We booked the private room and a set dinner menu for a small family reunion. Everyone was delighted with the food and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This is our favourite place in Wellington.

Really excellent service and superb cooking. We had pork and lamb as mains, and they both came with a fascinating combination of flavours that worked brilliantly well together. There was so much flavour on the plate that our side orders weren't really necessary - but they were still delicious and greatly enjoyed. And they've got the balance right between a... More

Comfortable retaurant, engaging waiter. Very good wine list. The charcuterie platter of cold meats , terrine, pates and pickles was very good. There was a special of white bait. It came as an omlette with no distinct whilte bait flavour as the amount of white bait used was so small. If this fish is too expensive maybe they should focus... More
