We visited here for the 'from $8.90 lunch deal' yesterday. We both had butter chicken (about $10 each plate with deal) nuwith steamed rice and a plain naan. The butter chicken was very sweet but delicious. Good value for money for travellers and a great stop in for windy Wellington weather.

They first attract you with prices (well you do not expect high gastronomy for this price, but you still expect something eatable...). The waiter... is -I guess- waiter since 5 minutes and does not know what to do (at least that the impression we had). When you asked for a table for 2 people he just answered "sit down" waving... Had dinner with a couple of colleagues from work as we wanted a tasty, early meal. Had some poppadoms and dip to start and then each of us had a curry. The menu said the butter chicken was "award winning" so I had to order it. I had butter chicken, NZ hot not Indian Hot with Garlic Naan. Curry was... More

The chicken tikka tasted like it was chicken swimming in ketchup. Had the lunch deal which is good price compared to dinner menu, but not worth it for the taste. won't be going back again

We found this restaurant by accident and were delighted that we did. It is huge inside and seats lots of people on a Saturday night whereas other restaurants are full. We started with a tandoori chicken which was delicious and followed this with a lamb rogan josh, delicious. The naans were good and service excellent. Reasonably priced and right in... More

Came here recently for dinner using a grabone voucher. We both had starters and a main. Food was amazing I was very impressed, especially with the chicken cheese Tikka and butter chicken. The service was also great with an amazing atmosphere.

We didn't exploit the long, long menu or extensive cocktail list but had a tasty evening of old favorites. Everyone happy and full.

We ordered one special lunch deal with vegetable curry, two buttered chicken( their speciality) ,mango lassi, and apple juice. The meal came with a large helping of very good naan bread and a large bowl of rice. Service was... More

we arrived on a Friday night having booked, the place was moderately busy, we were served drinks immediately, also had our BYO. Served with shared starters, mixed veg platter & mixed meat platter followed by mains, which we shared. Great service, friendly & efficient & well priced.

The staff were quite lovely, always smiling. The food on the other hand, came out extremely fast which was an obvious indicator that their food is simply being reheated. I ordered mild but even then it had no real flavor. The naans were okay, probably the only thing I enjoyed. Will not return to this place....
