Enjoyed my meal so much I went back another day. Situated in an old Irish Pub Shamrock, spacious and comfortable. Excellent menu, and food well cooked. Licensed.

My food, ordered mild, arrived with a dying bee hidden in rice. The owner then prepared another meal, after disclaiming responsibility for the bee, but this time made the spicy version which I could not eat. A drink she provided to subdue the spicy flavour of the meal tasted bad. Overall a terrible experience although our young server was very attentive.

Ate here three times on latest visit to Wellington. Food always good with friendly service, they actually declined a tip. Much better option than other more costly similar restaurants in Courtney Place.

For a pricey Indian restaurant in Thorndon area, it's not worth the money. You hardly see any meat in the dishes. When we told the lady as we pay, she said that's what happen when the chef is busy. I was speechless because there's only 4 guess including us at that time. I was wondering if they have changed the... More

The real deal - great food, low-key environment, friendly and efficient service. Noticeably better than your average Indian restaurant. Sensational curries and the best slightly crisp, fresh Roti ever.

I think they serve one of the best Indian food in Wellington. They understand the meaning of "can you make it extra spicy". The plus point is that their lamb is Halal but chicken isn't, so I got to try a few lamb dishes from Lamb Rogan josh to Lamb karhai which was very flavorful. The saag paneer was was... More

To say that I loved every dish I have tried here is an understatement. I am a person with a very picky palate, and it's been difficult for me to find Indian food that actually tastes authentic and has just the right amount of spice I am looking for. But, I really lucked out with this place, because they made... More

I went for lunch with a group of 12 work colleagues. I ordered chicken tikka masala kiwi hot and it was about the best I have ever had. I don't know what I was expecting in terms of flavour, but I got more. Another guy I was with who loves curry said his was really good too. Service was very... More

I ordered a takeaway over the phone. The lady on the phone was very friendly and eager to help me make a decision on what I wanted to order, and had some good suggestions. She told me the order would be ready in 10 minutes. I reached the restaurant in 9 minutes, and true enough, I only had to wait... More
