Floriditas always offers top-quality food and this visit was no exception. For the first time I ordered the 300g steak and, although pricey at $40, was up there with the best I've eaten. Lots of options for vegetarians too, and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Such an amazing egg range on the breakfast menu, so much to choose from! The pickled radishes with avocado and ricotta is awesome- I added two poached eggs which made it even better. Great coffee, good service and nice atmosphere too.

The service was prompt and friendly, the atmosphere was buzzy and chatty with the space between diners enough to enjoy your own company. The steak was beautiful and didn't require a steak knife to cut. The char grilled Broncolini was smoky, crunchy and fresh, matched with the tarragon butter as just beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening

Great choice of international wines. Yummy polenta chips. Very friendly and nice service. Not sure that choosing a large main is a good deal. Hardly bigger than the small one.

Finally, I can say that I have a really good meal at Floriditas. Previously I have had to express disappointment with some aspect of the food or service at this place, which others regard highly. That was never my experience – until last night. Three of us dined well. I had fish croquettes, which were hot and tasty – cod... More

Had lunch here with friends on a recent visit to Wellington. Great retro decor, very friendly staff and great food and wine. Well worth a wait at the bar with a drink for a table on a busy Easter Monday!

The food at this restaurant is good but not special. In common with all Wellington restaurants it features pea tendrils. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Would go back.

My travelling companion was annoyed about the quality of th Bircher meusli at Sydney airport and was totally delighted with what was served here. Also the coffee was very good, the staff attentive and obliging. All the reviews I had read about this place were spot on.

Cuba Street is full of choices for places to eat, but I was feeling like ... not sure what, so we tried the French inspired food at Floriditas. The fact that the restaurant was almost full seemed to indicate food would be good - and it was, though we ended up spending more than we had intended to. To start... More

We visited this restaurant twice during our short stay in Wellington and enjoyed both the food and the service. Floriditas is at the far end of Cuba Street and quieter than many of the other restaurants we looked into. The food is very tasty and attractively served. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Wellington.

Thank Andyko
