An eclectic bar maybe somewhat hipster influenced, but all are welcome. Around 20 Craft Beers on Tap changed almost daily. Awesome pizza's and a great selection of music and bands. Great in summer to relax outside in the sun on bean bags and enjoy your favourite craft beer, or sample a few. My son thinks they are the best pizza's... More

We came here one afternoon after exploring the city on foot and it was a great way to unwind and relax. The vibe of the place is amazing as are the beer they service! Service was friendly.

I have been here a few times now but it's always a great experience. The food and drink menus are just amazing. My favourite experience was when the bar person sniffed the bottle of wine to check it before pouring me a glass, I don't see that very often.

This great bar restaurant is just half a block off Cuba Street, but it may as well be miles. Somehow the grungyness of Cuba Street doesn't travel this far. And interesting bar, inside and out, brings back memories of the 70's great paintings, been bag chairs on the lawn outside. All quite Bohemian. A great selection of beers and wines.... More

Wife & I found out that the band 'Wellington City Shake-em-on-Downers' were playing here the weekend we were visiting Wellington, so we decided to go here for dinner and to watch the band This is not your ordinary pub - they only do craft beer, not the regular DB / Macs Gold / Speights that most pubs do We had... Beer was good, with good beer menu to read. The food looked really good, like bar snacks, pizzas etc. We were welcomed by a very friendly door man, which was nice (for once!). Had a DJ playing, and then a band set up to play. Not really our taste, but seemed popular. Had a nice evening. The toilets were vile... More

This was an unplanned stop after finding a large grip of Morris Dancers frolicking on the lawns in front of Rouge and Vagabond. As you need refreshment while sitting in the sun on the lawn I tried some craft beer samples. They had two hand pulled beers on tap and at least 16 others available. Staff were very friendly.
