I've eaten a few times gere for work lunches. One if our favourite lunch spots close to work. It does my favourite saag curry really well. This restaurant tends to bring a big bowl of communal rice to the table rather than each individual portion which can be a hassle. Restaurant is clean and tidy. Would recommend.

Went here with a friend for lunch. Had the spicy lamb dosa - excellent! For $10 as a lunch special was exceptional value. My friend had the rogan josh which he said was one of the best he has had. Staff friendly and helpful. Newtown has many excellent restaurants, including two other Indian. The Curry Pot will now be my... More

I've tried many a saagwala in Wellington and Curry Pot does it the best to my tastes. Others will often plop chunks of tomato in or be very shy with the spinach. However Curry Pot, perfectly blends a generous amount of spinach in and it tastes great. Their naan are also yummy.

The mains came out and tasted really good. Only let down was the raeta sauce was a bit on the funny side compared to when we normally eat it. Would get a better review otherwise.

The decor is nothing to write about but the waiters and the food are worth all your attention anyway! The staff are consistently courteous, helpful and will give you good advice on the menu choices. We have been here a few times now and always leave happy.

We come here at least once a week because it's one of the few places in Wellington where each curry actually tastes completely different. The variety and the quality is incredible! Since they opened we've been working our way through the menu and it's really the type of place where you simply can't go wrong with a choice. The chef... More

The Curry Pot is wonderful. Superb food. Professional and kind service. Comfortable atmosphere. The Curry Pot chefs make some of the best food in Wellington. All of the dishes are delicious but what makes this place stand out are the South Indian thin and crispy rice flour pancakes known as dosas. Creating an excellent dosa is an art and these... More
