It's a very nice Irish bar in downtown Wellington. We normally sit outside if the weather is fine. We get some drinks and chill. The music from inside is sometimes too loud but I think that is a common thing with all the pubs.

The place was almost empty when we bellied up to the bar. It was mid-afternoon and we were just stopping to try a local beer while checking out the area. The bartender was friendly and helpful. He made suggestions about what we should try and...More

I'd imagine at one time in Wellingtons history this was the place to be. Multiple floors of music and merriment in your typical Irish drinking den. Sadly it feels as though this might be on its last legs. We partied here for NYE 2014. Service...More

Drinks were very expensive even for Wellington CBD. Décor is run down and unclean. Service friendly. Toilets dirty and smelly. I reported all this to staff, but no one seemed to care.

Thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips and the beer. I would visit this place again on my next trip to Wellington.

We had a great "pub meal" here. My husband is English, so he is a bit picky about Pubs. Our meal was delicious and filling. Everything on the menu looked delicious.

Reasonably priced, the Irish beef and Guinness stew was hearty and filling - comes with mashed potatoes and bread.
