went there for brunch, it was warm, friendly and very relaxing. Place was well appointed, funky and the girls offered great service. Food was great and you didn't have to get a loan to eat there. Well done, nice, friendly and welcoming, we'll be back

Had time to kill in Wellington before heading to the airport. Found Sweet Mothers Kitchen and stopped in for breakfast. Interesting eclectic decor. Friendly and funky staff. Coffees were lovely and served fast. Meals were good. Scrambled eggs nice and creamy. Hit the spot.

I don't think I need to say more than - we had 24 hours in Wellington and ate here twice. Don't miss out on the fried chicken but all the food was amazing. You won't go wrong.

Nice food, fast and friendly service, but the atmosphere blew me away! It was just great for an inner city snack!

Sweet Mothers Kitchen is a really nice and familyfriendly restaurant. I had often some curly fires and sometimes a snickers Milkshake. Both were excellent, especially the fries. The only minus is the cramped envoirment´.

Whenever we are in Wellington we are sure to have a meal here. It doesn't matter if it is breakfast, lunch or dinner it never fails to please. Great friendly staff and a wholesome vibe about this place. The menu is inspiring and leaves you with the urge to come back again to try everything on it.

The New Orleans inspired home-cooked meal was the best food on a street flooded with asian takeaway. This is the busiest little restaurant on the street for a reason! Delicious comfort food for the weary traveller with a good selection of NZ craft beers in a cozy, shabby chic environment. Wait times were a bit long for food, but the... More

I used to eat here every time I came to Wellington about 5 years ago and living in Auckland and it never disappointed. I wanted to share it with my family so we went for breakfast. First morning was a real hit. Food was fantastic. I had the breakfast burrito which was delish as were the french toast and waffles.... More

We 90% of the time finish our weekend off with breakfast here before heading back to Hawkes Bay. 99% of the time our experience here is always top notch but unfortunately this wasn't a great experience. The restaurant was no busier than any other time we've been. The waiter we had was very friendly and seemed onto it but it... More
