There are many words I could use to describe Spring Kitchen, but I’m going to start with this: An unforgettable dining experience for all the wrong reasons! Unless you're looking for somewhere that will guarantee to kill the mood and ruin your night, DO NOT...go there! It's a common knowledge that the guest experience begins with the customer walking through the doors of your restaurant. We made a reservation for a special occasion, and we were greeted by the Duty Manager Roshan Jayasuria, a glossy pretender, and a downright rude, arrogant, pushy man who clearly thinks he's too good for the job! He had no interest to check our reservation and the specific request we made, literally pointed at at a table and "told" us that's where we'll be sitting. That's right, he didn't even have the courtesy to lead us to the table. After I explained that our reservation (that was made a month ago) specifically requested window seat, the response was "No, for 2 people this is where the guests are seated." I asked if my request cannot be accommodated, why wasn't I informed prior. Again, we were given the same response "For 2 people this is where the guests are seated." Meanwhile, the restaurant only had three other tables occupied (now after being in there, we certainly know why it's so empty), and there was a table by the window that was available the entire time we were there. To top it off, after we had our mains, Roshan Jayasuria came back to offer us the menu for dessert, we noticed the table had a little bit food left on it. I asked him "Can you wipe it off?" Guess what? He shot me a look and literally gave one word, and one word only "No!" Obviously, we decided to leave and have our dessert somewhere else. What really baffled us is that given the high unemployment rate and the number of skilled workers out there, how is this man still keeping his job? AND was given the responsibility to train staff! AND we're talking about Double Tree with Hilton standards! Honestly, what a joke!!!More
