I was here for the high tea. When I booked, I requested "vegetarian". The service was excellent. The waiter/waitress kept pouring the tea/water non-stop. I loved everything on my plate. Every single one was delicious. This was my second visit after the first time last year. I impress every time I have the high tea here. This place was the... More

This was an outstanding experience, and value for money. We went there for a 60th. 8 people, which gave us the exquisite table that was off to the side and felt like your own restaurant. The staff were amazing, and the wine was impeccable. We were expecting a small serving of food and I couldn't finish my plate. We got... More

We had the beef rib for two. While they came out rare to blue, they quickly fixed the issue and they were great. There was so much,we have lunch for tomorrow. They came with potatoes, cauliflower as gratin (which I usually ignore but this was great) and they graciously swapped out the iceberg salad for Caesar The dinner started with... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. A couple of weeks before I booked a table online and when we arrived we were professionally greeted and shown to our table. The table was nicely situated with a view out over Wellington harbour, the surrounding hills and the boat marina. The service was impeccable and the food was... More

Very average. Generally, did not reach my expectations considering the upmarket reputation it projects. Service was without fault and the best aspect of our evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our "chateaubriand" dinner with a lovely Cabernet blend from NZ. Attentive service and a harbor view complemented the experience.

Could not really find any fault with this restaurant. Food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Service was outstanding. Beautiful ambience and location. Well worth the money. Will definitely return on future trips to Wellington.

Not having eaten here for a few years and aware of a recent change of management we were interested to see if the French influence remains - it does. Staff are perhaps a little more 'relaxed' in their manner than before, more akin to the style found in many NZ restaurants, however the 'professionalism', (knowledgable, interested and friendly without being... Service was great, but high tea not worth what was paid for. $55 per person and the food was average. Not worth it
