I was in the mood for some dessert and so looked online. I was expecting bigger range of desserts. The slices are expensive and very small. Tastes okay but not worth what you pay. Very disappointing.

Came 6 months ago on a visit to Tauranga and it was so nice that we decided to come again. This time we. were a group of four and we all had the best coffee here. A couple had grilled mushrooms on toast, they were...just delicious! The food in the cabinets looked fresh and yummy too. Staff super lovely. Wow what is happening to this little café? It used to be good. Called in for a coffee and some lunch. I had a piece of salmon quiche ($10). Quite a small slice. The accompanying side salad was bigger. Unfortunately re-heated in the microwave resulting...in soft rubbery pastry. Yuk ! Coffee was also disappointing. Quite bitter tasting. Would not recommend - Maybe go to Raft around the corner....More

Mum & I popped in after shopping. We both enjoyed our lunch. Good quick service, speedy delivery, clean premises and yummy Chicken Mayo to be had here!!👍

Excellent coffee, fabulous crispy baguette filled rolls and their sweets can be divine but beware the associated price tag for these.

We have been here before when things were good but on this occasion something was off.. The person on the till clearly didn’t want to be there..when I asked for a large latte and happy to pay extra I was told “it comes in a...small glass so I will pour it in a big cup if that’s what you want”.. Also ordered a spirillina smoothie and got the most unusual colour green with looked then tasted artificial and very sweet.. We shared a chicken and bacon roll which was ok..for a cafe advertising itself as a patisserie the cakes should be exciting and tasty..oh how wrong..they all looked plastic and obviously not homemade..the coconut and caramel tart was tasteless and boring.. It’s either laziness or cost cutting by the proprietor which is a shame as it has so much potential..More

We enjoyed morning tea here , good selection of coffee and tea. Very reasonable prices. They also have a good selection of cakes etc as well as salads and regular light meals for luncheon. Recommended.

Always lovely food being served at this venue. Tasty creamy mushroom crepes but the filled baguettes are always a treat: today chicken mayo...! Yummy..! In spite of the moist fillings these baguettes always remain crisp and crusty. This must be the best bread available in...town. Amazing...More

Great food, great service, great location. What more can we say? Well, as the name suggests the menu is French leaning. There is always a selection of quiches and other hot and cold savoury options and salads in the cabinet plus a good Specials board....Sweet offerings are to die for and the coffee is superb. Top with fabulous location and you have it all :)More

The other reviews are correct the service here is fabulous the ladies couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier if they tried!! Me and hubbie came for breakfast I had a chicken and bacon sandwich (the bacon was delicious and crispy, the mayo yum and...the bap type thing it was in beautiful and fresh) the hubbie had the french toast and he is a bit of a french toast expert - he declared it the best ever as it came with grilled banana, mascapone, berry coulie, chocolate sauce and bacon - not only was it a really genorous serving but the food was delicious and it was VERY reasonably priced. To top it all off the coffee was strong and nice and hot. We will be back!!More
