I had the the toasted sandwich, and it was quite unsatisfactory. The bread was soaked in oil. And you can see it was toasted on a dirty hot plate. They had left it to wait that it was half cold. And there was so much...dirty fried oil on the cheese and everything that I now feel quite sick. The service was nice. But I ordered the caramel hot chocolate and it didn’t even taste like caramel. Wouldn’t recommendMore

Love this place. Friendly staff, the BEST flat-white in town, nice ambiance, always clean. The in-house baked croissant's look weird - but don't be fooled - they are terrific. Unlike other places I wont mention - no flies ! They actually clean the tables properly....Did I mention the BEST flat-white in town.More

Good coffee and food. Both cabinet and lunch menu food are consitently good. It has recently changed hands, but does appear to have keep up a reasonable standard dispite this.

Went there for lunch. We had a roast vegetable salad, heated. It was nice but fairly pricey. The service was quick and fairly friendly but the atmosphere isn’t that great, it could have been the music playing. We had been there once before a few...years ago and it was a very happening, busy place but this time it was quiet with only two other tables occupied.More

I was in the mood for some dessert and so looked online. I was expecting bigger range of desserts. The slices are expensive and very small. Tastes okay but not worth what you pay. Very disappointing.

Came 6 months ago on a visit to Tauranga and it was so nice that we decided to come again. This time we. were a group of four and we all had the best coffee here. A couple had grilled mushrooms on toast, they were...just delicious! The food in the cabinets looked fresh and yummy too. Staff super lovely. Will definitely come back next time I visit Tauranga.More

Wow what is happening to this little café? It used to be good. Called in for a coffee and some lunch. I had a piece of salmon quiche ($10). Quite a small slice. The accompanying side salad was bigger. Unfortunately re-heated in the microwave resulting...in soft rubbery pastry. Yuk ! Coffee was also disappointing. Quite bitter tasting. Would not recommend - Maybe go to Raft around the corner....More

Excellent coffee, fabulous crispy baguette filled rolls and their sweets can be divine but beware the associated price tag for these.
