This place is a gem! Love yum cha and this place does it justice. Busy at lunch time but quiet in the evening. Selection is good but not extensive, what they do they seem to do well as we have been numerous times and are yet to be disappointed. It was recommended to us by a couple of Chinese friends... More

I need to aknowledge the service was quick, quantity was good and the deep fried rice balls filled with pork were delicious. The service was minimal and the paper towels we asked were never brought. Not very pleasant when you have oily dumplings. We said we wanted to start with 3 dishes but we were told it wasn't enough. When... More

Came here for yum cha with family on our visit to Tauranga. Service - Only a couple of staff which means its a bit slow. Very friendly manager/owner while one of the waitress was very pushy and kept trying to push us to order more food. Food - Decent enough but apparently, not quite as good as the other yum... More

The pork dumplings were excellent. Apart from that the food had no taste and was just dished out loaded on platters. It seems to take away one's appetite.

Went there with my family. Food was really late and only one lady was serving the food. Don't know why they don't employ more staff since it's pretty busy. They don't serve all food at once. When you get one meal you need to wait ages to get the next meal. We almost gonna miss the movie that supposed to... More

This was our choice of eatery on our last night in New Zealand, and boy it couldn't have been worse! My original intention was to try the Korean menu next door in the Mudan, but my wife refused to enter the premises saying there was no one dining there (6.30pm on a Saturday night) so she said she had eaten... I used to love coming here and this was our go to place for lunch. However now the Yum Cha does no longer get offered and you can only order from the menu. The food itself is also different and no longer as good as it used to be. Very disappointing.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. Yum Cha is a family tradition for us back in Canada, and living here now, we were hoping to find a place. Every time I have gone (three times!!!) the service was appalling. Today for example water but no glasses. Tea cups but no tea. No chopsticks. When the server finally got us... More

Food was not great and service was not good either. Not much variety as well. If you are not fussy probably the portion and the average taste if good enough with the value you're paying.
