Found the food very expensive ($65 for a basic lunch) and the wait staff inattentive. Long wait to order, food was average. Nice spot with nice views, but we won't return due to the cost.

What a lovely place to eat right on the water. They do breakfast brunch lunch. Staff are friendly and the menu delicious. I had the brunch stack and my husband the fish and chips both delicious definitely return. A bonus just behind it a lovely gift shop called the White Sail Gallery beautiful stuff and prices reasonable.

The atmosphere was good looking out onto the Sea, but the food did not excite which was disappointing It was a little on the noisey side also.

4 of us, 2 from Sydney and 2 from Auckland came for breakfast. Brilliant location, quirky style of decor and really good food and service. What more could you want? The owner is a delightful lady and the restaurant is a true indicator of her personailty. Would have no hesitation in returning again if we were back in New Plymouth.

I have been to this cafe a lot over the years and it's just not as good as it used to be. It's still OK but just not a favourite any more. The coffee is good that hasn't changed at all and there are still some really good cakes and sweet things. The cheese scones are great I love them... More

Must go place. The staff are so friendly and helpful, even receiving a complimentary glass of bubbles as it was our friend's birthday. Food was exceptionally good. With great flavours. I will be back.

Beautiful spot on the water but driving distance from most places but plenty of parking. Excellent choice of breakfast, at a table of 8 everyone enjoyed their meal. Topped with complimentary bubbles for a friends birthday and excellent table service

Had just finished walking the walkway from start to finish and back again. Went to the Bach afterwards to refuel. It was just what we needed, food was good and very delicious
