The best yum I would say in the North Island. The service was fast and friendly. Have been back again and will definitely be going back every time I pass through Rotorua

Went in two family group. Gave us a little room which was good as rest of place is like a barn. Only gave us expensive western menu until we asked and got a much much better value menu with dumplings etc. Was pretty bland but for the dumplings. Want to charge you 3% to use a credit card. I'd day... More

For me, it is always difficult to find good Chinese food when I travel since I am pampered with amazing food in my home country. But this restaurant was pretty darn good and I definitely enjoyed the meal here. We had traditional favourites like the chicken feet from the dim sum menu and the porridge made me feel so nice... Hi, we wanted a change from the normal English food, so we tried here and were not disappointed with what we had. We were made very welcome as we entered the door and shown to a nice table. We considered it great value for money, and would definitely go there again next we r in Rotorua. We were the only... More

Love eating here - food is fresh and tasty. The key to great ethnic restaurants I believe is in when the people of that ethnicity attend the restaurant. We were the only non-Chinese people in the restaurant that night. Loved how families were there together and that it was chatty and lively. Great prices as well!

After reading reviews on here my husband just wanted to visit and he said "Don't be put off by the outside look!!!!" Well not often I give something a bad review but we were very disappoited and wouldn't recommend this Restaurant to anyone. The staff did not speak English so it was pot luck what we ordered as they couldn't... More

Any Chinese restaurant that is full of Chinese folk, is always a good sign. We had a veritable feast - 5 dishes and a bottle of wine. Bill came to $140, which was very good value. Roast duck was amazing, as was the beef and black bean sauce.

The portions are huge but the prices match them. I reckon some dishes are probably better than others (eg. Prawn wontons were delicious but the sweet and sour pork wasn't quite right) saying that they were really busy but I think with minimal competition in a town with plenty of Asian tourists they've hit the jackpot. Service was good though... More

Went for dinner with my partner and 2 young kids. Restaurant was busy, lots of tour groups plus a number of locals. Service was prompt, professional and very friendly. The finer points of the menu were explained to ensure we understood what we were ordering. This was not kiwi chinese food but authentic chinese. We had chicken fried rice for... More
