Tiny overpriced pizza. Awful chips. Bad coffee. The manager doesn't care whether you like your meal or not. No vibe.

Rotorua's "Eat Street" (top end of Tutanekei St) is a really good idea: lots of choice and a good balance of inside/outside (with cover). It's a little pricey - it is a tourist town. So I wandered up & down, picked Nuvo as having a good range (a big range, actually) of a variety of dishes, not just pasta &... More

Paid $50 a bottle of wine and $30 a main. Refused to pour wine for us and place forks and knives in from of us. Instead dumped everything in from of one person. Spoke to owner who had a closed attitude and stated the price of the meals reflected service provided. Food was below average and small in portions.

We went to Eat Street to check out what was on offer. We had been to Nuvo a few years ago, and decided that they had the best choice on offer for us. Great traditional Italian pizza, awesome Carbonara, and a very nice steak. We went away well fed and happy.

Selection of breads and the kid's pepperoni pizza were fine - although $22 for a plain pizza is a bit pricy even by Auckland standards. Mains were poorly cooked and were confusing - definitely not Italian. Husband's scotch filet steak was over cooked and came with orange wedges. My lamb was also over cooked drenched in a cinnamon tasting sauce,... More

Delicious thin crisp based prima pizza! Yum! We had dinner here last night and just had to come back for lunch.

Nuvo (or Nuvolari - I don't think it was as fast as Tazio Nuvolari - look that one up on Wikipedia) was a rather good dinner experience for our family of four. My grandson was really happy with this restaurant, as were his mum and his grandparents. The food is mainly Italian, but I guess that Mediterranean really sums it... More

Not overly impressed 2/3 meals were raw. Sent back and they were recooked. Not very hard to cook a meat patty. But it was completely raw! Pizzas are good, come here regularly but will not be coming back again. Standards have slipped.

We had dinner here and we're happy enough with our selections.. The service was very good and with the exception of the pasta dish, we thought the food was very good. I was happy to eat here but I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. It was good but not memorable.
