There are many choices to eat in Rotorua, and I stopped here as they were the busiest (good sign!). I was not disappointed! Extensive menu (it was hard to decide what to order), the service was great and the food even better. Not to mention, it was a generous portion and a great value! I even went back the next... More

Not the best. Groovy cruisey looking place but disappointed by the service at the counter. I think customer friendliness is a must and takes little effort.

Looks like a very ordinary Cafe, however the food and service a both fabulous. Lamb Shank was out of this world. Fish & Chips and Sea food chowder were also very good. The staff was absolutely superb and most welcoming

Standard breaky food, good range and value, nice touch of retro and 80s references. Instead of a table number flag, we all had toys and kitch from the 80s. Our table had a Sylvester the cat cup.

Good food and friendly staff. The portion sizes are pretty large so don't be surprised if you end up leaving food on your plate. The prices are reasonable especially when you consider the portion size. Decor is pretty cool and funky and is lovely setting to slowly start your morning

Beautiful - both in appearance and taste. Thick bread, thin lean bacon, mild, varied flavours, and a gorgeous presentation. Not cheap but definitely worth the treat.

I've been traveling in NZ for 6 weeks now and Fat Dog served the best espresso yet by far. Only dropped in for an afternoon espresso but will come back again for some of the delicious looking food tomorrow.

Came across this place as we were walking to eat street. Spotted their street sign with a pork rib special on it. OMG the greatest ribs I have had for years. Good atmosphere and staff were great. My friends ate battered Fish and chicken burger. All were very nice meals. We will return. Especially fir the ribs.
