As we were staying in the East Pier Motel, this restaurant was an easy walk from our accommodation. We had scallops to start and the catch of the day. Unfortunately one of the scallops was uncooked which put me off the rest of them.

Had lunch here at lovely table outside with a lovely view. Both my husband and I had the steak sandwich which was delicious and very generous. Great prompt friendly service, good coffee and reasonably priced.

13 of us sat down in a clear film annexe. The views across to the Port and out to sea were outstanding. I had a sea- product- filled very tasty fish chowder as an entree, followed by a second entree of superbly tender venison, then a quite outstanding desert of fried bananas with a berry sauce and vanilla icecream. had a very good meal here. It was a bit busy as there was some sort of convention taking place and there were a lot of people standing round in the bar area. There is a choice ofn outside seating which have great views.

This restaurant is located right on the waterfront. The food was quite good and the service was excellent.

Had lamp rump which was disappointing. It was a poor quality cut of lamb but was presented nicely. It made me chew a lot and I did not like the dish. Several others in our party also though the meat was was of a low standard. Everything else was acceptable but very hard to please customers when the basic ingredient... More

We came upon this hotel and it's restaurant overlooking the beach while we were wandering around and admiring the view. It was perfectly situated on the front for a leisurely lunch. We ordered a dish of salmon fitters on spinach with roasted tomatoes, feta, chopped capers balsamic dressing and onions. It was delicious and we also ordered a chicken wrap... More

The decor is minimal, staff do smile from time to time but clearly management not endearing themselves. We have visited twice a year apart contemplating, both times settled but a very disappointing glass of house wine, and we then proceeded to the Thirsty Whale or to "Milk & honey" where the happy service is infectious

Husband and I stayed at East Pier Hotel and had a bite to eat. The platter is a great idea to share with a glass of wine!

A staff member was unfriendly, unhelpful & made us feel unwelcome. It was a struggle to accommodate my wheat allergy. The poached eggs & mushrooms were good though.
