Enjoyed an excellent dinner from creative menu at the Emporium. The service was very good with friendly waitress. Good value for the food and New Zealand wines. Good wine choices. Well located in Napier's downtown. Worth a repeat visit.

Lively place, clearly popular. Staff young and cheerful. However food was disappointing....when we said the chicken was tough the waitress replied "the cook told us to say it was tough because it was organic chicken" !! So clearly other comments already fed back to chef....More

This place looks great and nd the ambience is wonderful. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is very very good and well proportioned, and carefully considered. Delicious. The wine choices are also good and not too expensive. Definitely a repeat visit needed here.

Everything about our dinner was exceptional, great service and food to die for. The dining room, which is a main part of enjoying a meal, is fabulous and full of atmosphere. The best place in Napier to dine.

We visited Napier for 3 nights and ate here twice. The atmosphere in the hotel, with its Art Deco style is lovely. The food was very good; good sizes without being too big and well priced.

After leaving churchills at the county hotel after a bad experience with the bar, we ended up here for dinner. Totally opposite experience-great service, cheap cocktails, and fabulous main courses. I had the crispy pork and whilst not a big fan of crackling it was...More

We had the Salt & Pepper Squid, Prawn Toast then grilled snapper for mains. Each dish was superb. Prawn toast has wonderful relish/sauce making it really unique and really tasty. The squid lives up to it’s great reputation. The snapper came with a wonderful prawn...More
