We did a short visit to Gisborne and were looking for a place to sit down for a cuppa and something to drink. This cafe was the right choice. The location in Treble court is cozy and with the pleasant weather an outside table was prefable. The service we received was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended.

I enjoy a morning visit before going to the SPCA Charity shop where I am Volunteer manager. Staff and owner are friendly, and supportive and have even donated a large carrot cake for an SPCA Raffle. Food is baked fresh on the premise daily and coffee is terrific!

Great range of food and drink in a courtyard environment close to the heart of the city and with handy parking.

Had breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee and food! The flat white coffee was very very good. Even borderline "best I've had in NZ" while the Egg Benedict was out of this world! The eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon heaped on generously, the muffins toasted just right and the sauce rich and creamy!... More

It's a self service Café in Gisborne. The quality of the pie I had was very nice. The coffee was Okay as well. However, the place has a very simple ambience, which is not bad but can be boring at times.

I have been a regular of Robert harris in Gisborne for a long time. I have always enjoyed it and the team there have been friendly and accommodating. The place does a fantastic eggs Benedict with generous helpings of bacon and sauce. A great amount of space in side and out and very rarely overcrowded. This is not a trendy... More

Not my number one choice for dining but strangely the best eggs benedict I have had in Gisborne. Perfectly cooked eggs, generous on the bacon and hollandaise. Coffee is OK, counter food sub-par but a large range.

Well sited large café in Gisborne - next to the library. Lovely corner where the children can play with a variety of cabin foods as well as a menu. Staff really friendly.
