My husband and I both agreed that this was the best Indian food we have had in New Zealand. We each ordered a appetizer, a main dish and a cocktail each and loved everything. The flavors were bursting with the right kind of spices! Our service was great as well...would definitely come back.

Traveling solo from Australia. Recommended by a local and it is the best flavour of India I've ever had. Waiter 'Sam' was more than hospitable. A casual but professional experience. Must try the Tandoori trio.

I wanted to book a restaurant for my parent's wedding anniversary but unfortunately was in Melbourne at the time. Spoke to Sam over the phone from Australia and he looked after everything. From going above and beyond to make them a mocktail (not an option on the menu), to providing them excellent service to make them comfortable, and even providing... More

We started with the best and most imaginative collection of popadoms ever. The rest of our meal was good, enhanced by a naan unlike we had ever had before - we can't remember was the green stuff was on top, but it was delicious. The portion sizes were too big for us, but we were able to take the excess... More

The food is great, out of a table of 8 nobody had any negative things to say about the food. The service was not as good as previous visits, no service for drinks at all so we had to go to the bar and order from there. Only a minor thing but on the night a pain.

We were recommended this restaurant. It's in a really nice location and the restaurant is nicely furnished with very nice chairs and tables. The service was a little slow we thought although the restaurant was not full, but did have a large table in the main seating area. The food arrived and was just put on the table, so we... More

We went as a large family group but were not the only one! Food was very good with a nice range of vegetarian choices, tandoori and meat and fish curries.

Second visit to iVillage at Victoria Markets - unfortunately over-all it was a poor experience. Food in general was good - mixture of the usual favourites, although many of the table complained the "mild" curries were far too "hot" which left many of the dishes half eaten. Exepected much, much more from the service, a table of ten in a... More

We go to this place for any special celebrations like anniversaries, birthdays... Food is amazing and you eat with your eyes first, a real treat for the eyes and your taste buds. Perfect for date nights and also for kids.
