House wine was old, old opened bottle & vinegary tasting, very poor, it was returned! Food was less that expected, disappointing due to lack of flavour. Fish was over cooked. Prices are high considering the food & service

We were thrilled with the service and the food that we had last night. It was my husbands birthday and we could not have been treated better. Our meals were absolutely mouth watering- My husband had a couple of the the lime salsa oysters and...a bloody Mary shooter with the oyster for entree and I had the risotto- fantastic flavours - The crayfish thermidor that I had for my main was delicious and my husband had the snapper and asparagus he raved about it. Our desserts were wonderful and he was touched that they had given him a plate with a happy birthday message. We couldn't praise this restaurant enough.More

They are at 49 Outram St now still presenting lovely fresh seafood dishes and they have the most amazing salads. Mark the owner is an incredible host, friendly and very welcoming to his restaurant.

We dined at Zafferano’s last Saturday evening. It’s a very elegant restaurant, classy and chic. The maitre’d is welcoming and very professional. The chef attended our table to greet us and welcome us back and the staff are attentive but unobtrusive. Service was slick although...the restaurant was busy. The food was excellent. My husband had the seafood chowder to start which he thoroughly enjoyed and I ordered the scallops which were beautiful. We both ordered the duckling which was cooked well and beautifully presented. We shared a bottle of good red and a dark chocolate with honeycomb dessert, delicious! We love this restaurant and it’s always a pleasure to dine here. It’s a great place for a special occasion or just couples wanting great food, a nice atmosphere and an excellent overall dining experience. We will return again....and again....More

I was a little sceptical when friends booked this as I thought they went out of business. Turns out on a Saturday night they are very much in business! The large space they now occupy was packed with happy diners. Our group enjoyed plump fresh...Tasmanian oysters, half a lobster (value at $49 for the whole or $29 for the half), lovely scallops cooked perfectly (not sure about the rhubarb chutney though), seafood linguini (large serves and full of quality seafood) and a steak. It was all very good and generous serves across the board. Wine selection was good but a little pricy for some labels. Friendly staff and service was good but one of our group knows people there so you'd expect that. Others seemed to be very happy too so the service is clearly good. Not cheap by any means but a good night out. The restaurant is a little dated and stark so could do with a facelift to justify the prices. Overall we enjoyed our night very much.More

First visit to the new West Perth site having frequented the old brewery site on a number of occasions The view is gone but the food is still outstanding. Without doubt the best meal we have enjoyed in Perth in the last 12 months Carpaccio...and mushroom Risotto to die for. The pink snapper and seafood linguine were also amazing The prices are high but you don’t get food of this quality very often in Perth (unfortunately) The waitress who served us (Brazilian lady ... sorry I forgot your name ) was outstanding. Knew the menu well, was very attentive and personable Thank you Zafferanos we will be back again soonMore

Excellent food, services and decor. The skilled chefs and personable wait staff make this a really nice place for a treat or just every day. After many years at the old Swan Brewery, Outram Street may now be ‘the’ place. Twice recently we have tried...their lunch special, terrific. Highly recommended.More

Firstly, Zafferano is now situated at 49 Outram Street, West Perth. It has taken over the space of a previous restaurant and as in the previous case the dining area and ambiance is first rate. Zafferano has an easy to follow menu which highlights some...excellent dishes displaying great variety of flavours. The food was excellent; the chorizo risotto and duck were both delicious. I had tastes of a number of other dishes which were equally as good. The wine list has a good range of familiar wines complemented by plenty of interesting offerings from around the World. In a restaurant of this class a little more attention to improving the wine knowledge of the staff would benefit. On the main the staff were very attentive and most pleasant. We had a most enjoyable fine dining experience. .More

Zafferanos never disappoints and remains our favourite restaurant in Perth. Service is always great and food is fantastic even to our Italian family of fussy eaters! All the pastas and seafood is quality - must try sausage (chorizo) and truffle mash - my personal favourites!
