Cook at your table banquets for 2 or more seem to be popular here. Very attentive staff who want to make sure you don't smoke out the place or burn it down. Lots of seats on two floors and appeared to be accommodating for late arrivals.

Thanks for visiting! I'm sure the staff were just being attentive and not out of some fear that you would burn down the joint! Yes, we are open quite late and accommodate late walk-ins; it's the Korean way! More

As a first-time visitor to Australia, my initial experience on looking at restaurant prices was complete sticker shock. Fortunately, I quickly found that there were a lot of reasonably priced Asian restaurants, and also fortunately, I love Asian food. Korean food is one of my favorites, and this visit to Arirang did not disappoint. I had the beef bulgogi set,... More

Our meals were overcooked. I couldn't recognise the chicken as chicken, it as like some sort of meat jerky. Overcooked and dry. I had a wine, and even though it is red, it shouldn't have been so warm, it was almost like it had been specially heated. I'm not sure where they store their wine - next to the cooker?... More

Arirang provides an excellent ambiance perfect for catch up with business colleagues or clients in a relaxed yet very polished environment. The food price is exceptionally good and the service is impeccable at this price point. The number of staff that has been available at each time i have visited has been more than ample meaning service i would expect... More

I went to the restaurant in Maru (brisbane) which was very popular. There, the BBQ first floor was always packed. Even though Maru was great and great price I liked this restaurant BBQ due to the quality of the meat being better. We booked in for dinner, ordered the korean street food seafood platter, tap asahi, pear-fection which was souju... More

The ventilation in this place is not v good. You would smell after dinning. Nonetheless I jus had to try this place upon recommendation from a service staff at river side cafe (a Korean) when I asked for recommendation for Asian food. The staff here are accommodating letting me share a bowl of kimchi jigae with my other half. Seated... More

We visited on a Saturday evening and the place was busy. There were five of us so we ordered a meal each and the boys walked away hungry. Not enough food and no sides just mostly meat. It was tasty enough but wouldn't rush back

Thanks for your review, Firstly my apologies that we didn't leave you with a satisfactory experience! Part of Korean culture is to really make sure your guests are full at the end of the evening so we are particularly disappointed we couldn't achieve that. We ideally want you rushing back for more so we will take on board the feedback... More

We dropped in a week or so ago for dinner after an afternoon of wine tasting in town – I hadn’t been before, but was certainly satisfied enough to return again. On entering you definitely pick up the barbeque element – it is quite smoky, with welcoming cooking aromas abounding. A menu with a range of Korean selections, something to... More

Thanks Alfred for the time taken to write such a well-articulated review. We recently updated the menu and at that time we curated the wine list down to a smaller selection to bring the focus onto the Korean spirits / cocktails we introduced. Did you have a chance to try the Korean Black Rasberry wine? It would be wonderful if... More

Nice food, except the miso soup that I ordered is nothing but the soup. No tofu, no sewed, no onion just plain soup. Quite disappointed. But the beef are great! Too smoky. Need a good ventilation.

Thanks Cherry! The Ventilation is something we have been struggling with for a while now as the building is quite dated. Plans are in place for renovations so we hope to rectify some of the issue then. More
