Small restaurant. Family run. Excellent authentic Indian. Very reasonably priced. A real favourite of ours. We visit at least once a month.

We dined for the 2nd time with my family for a pre-show curry. The service is always attentive, warm and knowledgable and the restaurant small yet very cosy. The food never takes too long and for the hungry diners it was appreciated. We devoured a combination of Butter Chickens and Beef Kormas all of which were flavoursome, creamy and hit... More

We keep going back. The décor is not great but the husband and wife couple are very friendly and produce great food

Indian friends recommended this small cosy place to us and we've not regretted it. We go about twice a month and the food and service quality is consistently good. We notice that local Indians eat here and speak highly of the place. We're not Indian so cannot guarantee its authenticity but we've been extremely impressed with the food. The prices... More

The lady at the counter did not know how to convey it to the customers that the minimum fine in was $20. She behaved like an arrogant fool, was not at all courteous and was without polite manners. At least the person at the reception should know the basics of customer service, after all the restaurant is earning because of... More

Yum, yum, yum! I have tried a few Indian restaurants in Perth and even the over priced and over rated restaurants don't come close to this little Jem. Small and simple restaurant but the food is far from simple. Wonderful food but yes it could be a little spicier Can't wait to come back and become a regular customer

The vegetarian food we ordered had a nice kick to it. Papadums weren't overly fresh (I'm assuming due to the humidity inside the kitchen) and they weren't complimentary either which was a shame. We went on a relatively humid evening but what bothered me was the plastic tablecloths because the restaurant was humid and sticky. I can imagine some people... More

Food was good and service was ok, not great given it's size but not bad either. The food was delicious. Most of what we had was tender and not overcooked like other Indian i've been to. It's not fine dining but if you're after a nice quick and tasty Indian in the Heart of the Park then stop in here... More

Looks rather unpretentious but was the best ever Butter Chicken I have had. Bottleshop was near by and purchased a crisp dry white wine to support my yummy chicken. Divine! It is a small place and can fill up quickly. Seating inside and out and a really efficient waitress. Many thanks for the delightful meal. I will be back!
