I wasn't sure where to have breakfast and decided to go out an wander. I noticed a sign mentioning breakfast all day and looked at the prices outside. Poached eggs were cheaper by a few dollars than other local places so tried my luck! Ordered with a latte and the whole thing came to $11ish! What came out... I couldn't... More

My friends and I stopped in to grab a coffee and sweets after lunch, and enjoyed our visit. Our milkshakes were served in traditional aluminium cups, and the macaroons were delicious and light. Service was great and price was reasonable. Nice visit.

Visiting Perth, on a walk on NY Day found this patisserie open for a few hours. What a delightful surprise to find such friendly people, five star coffee and delicious macaroons. Returned the next morning for coffee expecting another excellent flat white. Disappointingly this flat white was not of the same high standard. Different barista! A few days later we... More

Dropped in with the Fam-bam before they went overseas. You gotta hand it to the French - when it come to bakery - "respect". Beautiful French pastry, good gluten free range, salted caramel cake (yum), macaroons, chocolate twists. Kids all happy. Fantastique!

A bakery with a great atmosphere and a good breakfast menu. Quick Service and good coffee. Nice relaxed atmosphere with comfortable surrounds, there was no pressure to move on.

It very clear why Jean-Pierre Sancho has so many rave reviews. The Coffee is great, the cakes and pastries are to die for, and I just love being served by French-accented staff. I would stop for an early morning coffee on my way to work, and always had the feel of being on a little holiday break. A must do... More

I love coming to Jean-Pierre Sancho. The French food is fantastic the bread is great and the desert, we'll get ready to put on some Kg's. The deserts are the highlight for me, I love them such good citrus tarts, caramel tarts and the chocolate cake, incredible.

We found this place by chance while discovering Perth city. Situated on Hay St, it was like stepping back in time 1900's France very quaint. Great cup of coffee, which is orgamic by the way, we had a breskfast dish which were not only besutifullly presented but deliscious as well.

OUR HISTORY IN FRANCE. The history of SANCHO is the story of one family's love of good food and passionate commitment to the best traditional baking methods over more than 100 years. In 1904, Albin Sancho opened the first Sancho bakery in the medieval town of Lodeve, in the south of France. When Albin died in 1936, his son Albert took over the bakery. He later purchased the shop next door as the business grew and then another...In 1967, when Albert died, his son Jean-Pierre took over, he had trained in all aspects of patisserie and baking. When he took control of SANCHO, he maintained the traditional, labor-intensive methods of bread-making that had been handed down through the family since the 19th Century, deliberately bucking the trend of factory mass-production, and ALWAYS insisting on the best quality ingredients. Jean-Pierre Sancho still operates today from the Bakery his grandfather Albin started in 1904, he has opened several other bakeries that bear his name.In 2009, Jean-Pierre Sancho passed his knowledge to 3 young French men who now call Australia home.OUR HISTORY IN AUSTRALIAThanks to our customers, our staff and our suppliers, our first year in Australia has been better than we could have imagined.
