Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Order spicy chicken ramen for lunch, the soup is very oily but tasty though, quick service and friendly, it will be good the broth don’t put too much chili oil on it

This place is probably one of the best places to have a ramen in Perth. Actually causes you an addiction so if you have troubles with food addiction you will get at Bari Uma. Is soooo tasty, super fast service, food comes in like 5...minutes max 10. I love the normal ramen but also the extra pork one is great and the sides are amazing. Besides that they have a greeeeat cold water filter that I call the best water in Perth. Too much love for this place. Lovely staffs too’More

Friendly staff, prompt service. Ajitama-Uma. Broth was a bit bland for me. The little piece of pork was a bit fatty. The whole egg when cutting open was too undercooked for me personally. I don’t like the white bits to be gooey. Karatama -Uma. Very...Spicy. If you like spicy then this is for you. Gyoza. Classic taste. Enjoyable.More

As a group of friends in the city we are always looking for places to eat that we haven’t eaten before. Bari-Uma was recommended to us by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. It totally reminded me of eating in Niseko Japan with the service,...presentation and quality of the food. Will definitely eat here again. 5 StarsMore

I've eaten plenty of ramen in my travels, especially during a period of 6 months when I worked in Tokyo, and so I mainly look for subtle flavours in the broth and texture of the noodles to decide if I like it. If the toppings...and garnishing are good too, then that's the icing on the cake. Bari-Uma had all the elements I was looking for, and though it wasn't the best ramen I had tasted, it was pretty darn good. What stood out for me was the restraint on the miso content which most ramen outlets get too heavy handed with. For me, the chashu Nori-Tama-Uma had the right balance of depth and flavour which was quite satisfying. Their chicken karaage was a little overdone and had too much ginger powder used in the dry mix. Unfortunately this didn't turn out well for me. Still, a pretty good meal all things considered and I wouldn't say no to a return visit.More

Had the pork chashu ramen and it was a very small serving with 1 small piece of pork for $18, a total rip off. Also the broth was bland and tastless. Definitely not worth the price. Nao and Freshmade ramen restaurant close by was about...10 times better in taste, value and authenticity. Will not be going back.More

The previous evening we went to a Korean restaurant and that evening we had again an Asian dinner at this beautiful Japanese restaurant. The place is quite crowded but the service is quite quick. The quality is good and the prices correct.

It has been about a year since I last visited Bariuma to try its ramen. I was keen to try its chashu clay pot rice that featured in posters on the window. The claypot rice is very good value for money as it is a...substantial serve of rice and pork served with a spicy sauce (optional extra). Besides the great taste of rice in a stone bowl, the pork and corn kernels went very well with the sauce which had just the right about of heat. If you're not a fan of hot and spicy food, the regular version of this dish would suit. The seasonal menu also featured mazesoba, a dry noodle dish in a delicious sauce with an array of toppings including chashu, zuchinni, and a poached egg. The dish came with a free hot or cold drink. This was a serve enough to fill most appetites and was very tasty; good till the absolute last strand of noodles. Service is friendly and efficient and there is sometimes a queue at the door. But it moves reasonably quickly. Credit cards are accepted. There are paid public parking places nearby. I recommend taking public transport to the city whenever possible.More

Went there with 3 other people. All agree that the food is tasty. Broth is thick and delicious and the meat tender. Prompt service. Definitely one of the best ramen in Perth. Ippudo ( poor service and mediocre ramen) should learn from them!

What caught my eye was its clay pot rice which is a rare dish in a Japanese restaurant. We decided to go in for lunch. You wait to be seated.Once you are settled at your table, a menu is provided and you place the order at the...counter where you pay as well.Food would be delivered to you. We ordered Chashu-Japanese clay pot rice and Honetuski tori ( chicken ) rice. The clay pot rice was delicious.Smells great and rice was not burnt. There were no sausages but bits of very soft pork. The chicken rice was just okay.Chicken was soft and well cooked.Menu showed many ramen dishes which appeared very good. Water is provided free but you go to the counter to fill your cups there.More

It’s so nice having all staff call out mushi mushi as you walk in. Atmosphere was good and although being crowded it’s easy to talk comfortably. Spicy soup was quite spicy for my son and the gyoza were nice. Fast delivery of food too.
