While visiting Perth we had been previously disappointed by the casino and found ourselves searching for dinner not knowing the area.
Google showed us this place, so we rang to book. No seating till 7.30pm and closing at 8pm. The gentleman on the phone recommended ordering free delivery online as we didn't want to wait so long. Good idea! The food we ordered was $80. Free delivery is replaced by a $12 compulsory tip. Lol. Ok. So we pay $12 delivery. When the food arrived the driver was very polite. As I opened it all up I thought " omg, not anywhere near $80 worth". Then I plated up. The containers reminded me of 1980's endless coffee. The food just kept coming out of the containers. And OMG! It was perfect! Cooked as ordered, chips still crunchy, salad dressed just right, steak and seafood delicious! Worth every cent and as for tip, I only tip if I think the food, service etc was exceptional. Had I dined in, and not pre-paid online, I would have happily paid more. Kudos to the kitchen staff and driver. Going back before we we leave Sunday, dine in this time.

It was a birthday celebration. It was disappointing that it wasn’t acknowledged by restaurant even though it was on the booking notes. My other half was disappointed. Dinner felt rushed even though you have 90minutes. Service was confusing as between two people orders were being taken. Always trying to get someone’s attention. Tasty entree of plantain however mains was the let down. $40 Fillet was cold and what I would describe as soggy/rare. No charr on it (see photo) If that was the way it was supposed to arrive it wasn’t explained. Partners meal was okay. Overall atmosphere was listening to a gentlemen from another table of two state that his chicken was more like a nugget. I would say he was accurate as portions are not generous for the dollar value. Overall could be improved. It was just a “meh” experience.

The welcoming to the venue was poor, he kinda just told us to go sit down after checking our reservation.
It’s a cute little place, down a lane way so the vibes are nice.
The waiter was a laugh and took our orders without writing anything down but had the right food come out when it was ready. Wait times weren’t that bad around 20-30minutes.
The steak is the winner of the night for sure. Tender, moist and melt in your mouth. Our porterhouse steaks were delicious and seasoned well.
Another downer was the bathroom being across the lane way and it only having one cubicle for men and women so the line was a let down.
Overall the steak is one of the best I’ve had in Perth! Everything else is average. 🙌🏽

My friend made a reservation for three people. She tried to make contact with the restaurant (in good time) to add a 4th person by phone and by email, nobody could be bothered to reply. In the event, we arrived with our 4th person and were told that we could not be accommodated inside, despite their being several empty tables. The man at the register was rude and unhelpful, his first attempt at seating us was to have us sit next to the smoking area of the pub next door, not a good idea if one of your party has asthma. When we moved to another table further away from the cigarette smoke we were told that the table to which we had moved had been specifically reserved. We ended up on the far side of Shafto Lane by a fountain which seemed to act as a magnet for smokers. The seating was high metal stools with no backrests or upholstery, obviously intended to discourage leisurely dining. My selection was a medium rare 200g rump steak, it was dry, overcooked and virtually taste free. My wife's seafood was ok, as was my friend's pork rib. Nobody in our party wished to be unpleasant but it was apparent that none of us was enjoying the experience. The overall impression was that the food was bland and over priced. When we left we noticed that most of the interior tables which we had requested on arrival were still empty. The wait staff were pleasant enough but the man at the register had an attitude to customer service that was truly appalling, Had we not been on a short timeline, we would have found somewhere else to eat, and, in retrospect, we wish that we had.

Delicious food. Dined with my husband and waitress was very attentive and recommended some dishes as it was our first visit. Food came quickly and was lovely. Good portion sizes.
Only negative was there were no bathrooms in the restaurant - just public ones across the lane.

Was there for a friends Birthday booking. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out over cooked, they did replace it but still on the same plate, not a fresh new meal which was a little odd. The meals also took a fair while to come out when the restaurant wasn't very busy. Also $14 for a pint of beer anywhere in Perth is ridiculous!!!! The food was nice but for the price they charge i would expect a lot better.

Having read the reviews our party of 6 were expecting a great experience. We ordered drinks and it took over 35 mins before they arrived and that was after we asked 3 different waitress to check what was going on. Food took forever to come out and then a meal didn’t have the chicken that it should have had. Not a venue we will return to. Very under staffed. Food average at best. Certainly not a steak venue.

Guy at the reception was unfriendly and totally unhappy when we refused to sit outside and be victims to second hand smoke. Restaurant inside was not busy and had many tables empty. Deliberately selected the smallest 2-seater for 3 of us. Not even offering to join tables or anything. Thankfully our waitress was pleasant and kinda saved his nasty attitude and moved us to a bigger table upon realizing it’s not enough space for the dishes we’ve ordered. Food was pricey for what it is but it tasted good. Unfortunately, we fell really ill after dining there.

We proud ourselves to serve fresh products every day and we take good care in our cleanliness and food management. We are constantly audited by the council who make sure we meet the best Australian standard in relation to food management. Please remember that food poisonings/allergies can happen immediately or hours after the food has been taken, and every body reacts differently, so it could be something that you had earlier on that same day. in any case we take this feedback very seriously and would like to reach other customers that dine with us on that same day to make sure everything is ok, and to try to understand if this was an isolated issue or not.

Looking for somewhere different to our hotel for dinner we walked up to this lane way of dining and drinking places.
We were given a table out the front of the restaurant and is was a pleasant spot for people watching while we dined. While the food was good it was not remarkable. It was reasonably priced - as was the wine - for Perth which is one of the most expensive capital cities in Australia for dining and wine. Service was pleasant, timely and unobtrusive.
We will dine in this South American cuisine style restaurant next time we are in Perth.

We tried Angel Falls Grill in Perth (Shafto Lane) this afternoon as a celebration lunch for my Daughters birthday, and it did not disappoint. We ordered two trays and a few sides for 5 adults and two children. The food was fantastic and one of the most tasty grills I have ever had. We were quite hungry and there was lots of food. We didn’t leave a scrap. Well done Angel Falls Grill and thank you for a lovely meal and prompt efficient service.

Ate lunch there with the family on Easter Sunday.
We went there on spec after we found that cafe around the corner that had accepted our booking was actually closed.
Went inside and asked for a table outside for five, the manager said only the high tables were available even though there were standard height tables outside marked as being for Angel’s customers. My wife had a sore back hence the request for normal chairs but even after a second request the duty manager clearly wasn’t going to accommodate that.
The food was delicious, especially the mixed grill where the calamari, prawns, steak and sausage were lovely. The kids meal was also a huge hit.
The food itself is relatively expensive so with the 15% public holiday surcharge (signage made it clear this applied) the lunch was expensive at just under $300 without drinks.
On payment the machine didn’t work so the duty manager rather abruptly demanded a physical card rather than using a second machine or even apologising for the issue being with the restaurant. After some fumbling one of us produced a card and the bill was paid.
The food was lovely, but not impressed with the service especially given the restaurant was not overly busy and there was a hefty surcharge.

Booked here for Dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Never tried Venezualan cuisine before so we were excited to try it out and were not disappointed. Being unsure of the menu, we decided to try a Meru platter for 4 to sample a number of different foods. Everything was delicious and washed down with a couple of venezualan beers, the night was perfect.
There was not a spare table when we left which is always a good sign. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed and wait staff attentive and friendly. We will be back!

Ok you HAVE to eat here. Best steak in Perth in my view so far. This place is small, in a quaint little lane of restaurants and bars. Casual appearance of staff makes for a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a locally brewed IPA. The menu is best suited to a small group, kind of like tapas with sharing plates and the like. As I was on my own, I chose the “make your own grill” option. Eye fillet, grilled corn on the cob and a salad. Nothing looked high class, just a simple plate, but the steak...OMG! I’d eat 10 of them. Cooked perfectly and the flavour was Devine. Put this place on your list!

Cute little hidden gem. Welcoming wasnt, well, welcoming.
BUT, our meals and 4 drinks end of bill $107 made us forget about that for the evening. The steak (rare) had been smoked to the perfect amount and was just delicious, melt in ya mouth. Garlic prawns were plump and cooked to perfection, Sweet potatoe fries accompanied with aioli which didnt even need to be there and the chimichurri on the side just made the dish come together.
I will be going back here, value for money, i suggest you check it out to!

Very disappointing experience, I emailed the restaurant beforehand advising it’s a double birthday and that we will be bringing a cake. Didn’t get a response back about the cake. We thought it wouldn’t be an issue.
A couple of people ordeeed beer/cider both drinks approximately 5cm short of being full you are charging $15 for a glass. Then spoke to the waiter for recommendation for starter and mains. It turns out our mains has starter dishes. Which was disappointing you feel like eating the same dish twice. We were there for family celebrations happy to let it pass. We finished our meals asked for plates for the cake we were told we couldn’t have the cake as it wasn’t gluten free. This wasn’t an ordinary cake, it was especially order top pastry chef in Perth. Management wouldn’t accept that I had emailed earlier and played ignorant. If I had known about the cake I would have gone elsewhere . The food was salty, over priced and staff needs to be be conveyed with patrons especially when asked about recommendations.
It ruined birthday celebration, poor management no wonder you had bookings available where other places were fully booked. The only reason I book this place my booking was for 9 people all my preferred restaurants didn’t have any reservations available.
Thank you a bad taste in our mouth the food wasn’t that great. arrogance and lack of empathy. That was my experience from this restaurant I would recommend people spend their money elsewhere. These guys are not interested in creating a great dinning experience.
