Great food and delivery

After a long day and not feeling like we wanted to leave our holiday apartment , we were looking for a restaurant that would bring the food to us. For an additional $10 delivery Broome to Cable beach, Cairo cafe supplied us with an amazing meal for 4 , hot and plentiful. Lamb and chicken shawrma were excellent We called in the following day to personally say thanks to the manager Well worth considering if in Broome

Had dinner at Cairo Cafe and was pretty good. Charcoal Chicken was delicious and the garlic aioli hit the spot with the chips. A bit funny you are charged $5 for dining in as could have had it delivered for $5. Still a good experience and cheap meal in town.

Really delicious food

After a fairly hard day tabbing on Cable beach, we hit the town again and decided to try the Cairo Cafe for some well earned nourishment. Ordinarily, Arabic portions are generous so my wife and I opted to share the gourmet mixed platter and we really enjoyed it. The meat, chicken and kofta skewers were perfectly cooked, the prawns were succulent. Shreaded salad and hommus complimented the dish and a healthy serving of aromatic rice just delighted the tastebuds. The baclava sweet rounded off a very tasty meal stop. A vast array of entrees, salads, burgers, kebabs, pizzas and platters are guaranteed to satisfy and prepared in true Arabic style - plentiful and delicious. You can opt for pickup, sit in or delivery so there is no reason to miss out. If you are in Broome and fancy some really delicious food, you cant go wrong with the guys at Cairo Cafe, tast of the middle east at it's best.

Ok restaurant

Overall the food is just ok. The owner is not friendly at all. He looks like he unhappy with his business. When I ordered the eggplant (stuffed with meat) mesakaa dish and said only eggplant needed as we ordered another full meal and he literally gave fried eggplant only. Not a pleasant experience.

Delicious, made with love

Wow! Where else do you get a falafel kebab with egg, cheese, salad, 2 sauces for this price? IT'S CHEAPER THAN PERTH!!! Even better than this...the falafels were hand made by the owner- delicious and healthy. It appears he treats his staff (local lads) kindly and the not unreasonable wait was accompanied with an apology. One of my favourite eats in Broome.

Delicious lamb and meat lovers pizza!

I have eaten here quite a number of times and each time it doesn't disappoint! The pizzas are delicious and the HSP (Halal snack pack) is something else! They have fresh salads and the charcoal chicken is very tasty. Cairo cafe has excellent customer service as well both in the restaurant and home delivery as well. I highly recommend Cairo Cafe!

Very tasty and a good selection.

Very tasty and a good selection. Big bonus for a small charge they delivered to our hotel which made for a great night in with the family after a busy day. Food was hot and tasty and offered a good variety that allowed me to try some thing new whilst others could select the traditional kebab or pizza option.

Huge meal

The Cairo Café looked basic but was busy and importantly open on Sunday night. We sat at an outside table. You order and pay inside and collect your own cutlery, water and glasses. We thought our meal could take a long time given all the takeaway orders, but it came fairly quickly. The meals were large. The Vegetarian Platter had a good selection – falafel, vine leaves, roasted eggplant and cauliflower. Plus a big salad. The Lamb Shawarma and rice was a huge plate of food. Very tasty.

Worth the visit while in broome

The theme & atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing for starters, love the decor! The food was delicious, very consistant and all the ingredients were fresh and crunchy, I'm from Melbourne and this was the first and best restaurant me and my daughter went to in Broome! We both ordered a large mega kebab, and they did not dissappoint! Not only was the kebab ginourmas and fresh, the price was definitely affordable and well worth it's size and consistency.

Quick lunch stop

We like a hot meal for lunch and it's not always easy to find something simple, not too expensive, filling and yummy when traveling. Our quick lunch stop here today hit the spot. Definitely not the most visually appealing (could have cleaned up the plate someone left on a table that was there since we got there and after we left and could do with a sweep etc). Was also veryyy warm despite the fans at around midday. But... We had the quarter chicken meal and it was delish! Lots of rice(white rice cooked with something, Egyptian style? Not sure), quarter charcoal chicken with a splash of some kind of tasty sauce, salad, half a Lebanese flat bread and 2 dips (hummus + yoghurt garlic). I got an extra flat bread for myself and 2yr old $1 to wipe up the delicious hummus. Really enjoyed it! Would go back for the chicken and to try their pizza

Poor Service!

Felt totally ignored when my wife and I walked in for a sit down dinner, We were the only people in the restaurant and we were completely ignored by the gentleman at the counter. It looked like he may have been counting his money. No eye contact whatsoever. Not very friendly, not welcoming, food average at best! Would not go back again. There are much better options in Broome for a sit down dinner.

It was Good Friday and nothing in Chinatown seemed to be opened. We noticed a fish and chips shop operating and from the corner of our eye saw that Cairo Cafe was also opened. What a find! The lamb shank was to die for and the lamb shawrma was also delicious. Portions were huge that the 3 of us shared 2 mains. Very nice Egyptian decor in the cafe with artefacts in a glass cabinet for you to look at while waiting for your food.

Great food and great service

We chose delivery, as we were tired. It was hot and tasty and they rang us and said - leaving the store now and will be with you in five minutes. And they were. We had half chicken with rice and salad and lamb shank with rice and salad - both really good!

One of the only places to get a vegan meal in Broome!

I go here to get the Falafel Wrap as there aren’t many vegan takeaway options in Broome. I just have my falafel kebab with salad, chilli sauce and hummus. Not sure about other sauces so best to check If they’re vegan. It’s filling, fresh, tasty and cheap!

A super surprise!

Popped in to Cairo Cafe because there wasn't much else open on the public holidays Broome. Not going to lie, it doesn't look like much but it was fab! Best tasting shawarma since a trip to Egypt and excellent value. Would have happily worked my way through the menu.
