For 4 of us it cost $90. I think we got a little over charged. I was feeling generous, so I said nothing. The prawn crackers were stale. I enjoyed the fried rice with plenty of prawns in it. The dishes were average. They weren't inedible, but nothing to rave about. Will try somewhere else next time we are in... More

Had a look at the reviews and some were good and others were not. We went there for dinner on a Friday night. It was not busy but the takeaway sure was. There were four in our group and we all tried a cross section of the food and we were pleased with what we received. All of the food... More

Ordered sate beef with a fried rice takeaway as I still had work to do but I got a flavourless mixture of beef something and fried rice was bland. There was enough food and all ingrediants were there, but no flavour.

Wonderful friendly staff and by far the best Chinese in town, nothing is to much trouble if you like extras from the menu. Well worth it.

Love the exterior and 80's maintained Asian styled interior. Was waiting for Lopan to come out of the air-con. The food just doesn't cut it on all levels. Lacks punch, flavour and tradition in many areas. The menu is overly extensive, always a bad sign and after 2 visits couldn't name a dish we have tried that was good. The... More

Would not recommend this restaurant at all and quite frankly am surprised they are in business. One main, with fried rice and prawn crackers for one cost me over $50! I was really committed to Chinese so decided to go ahead and order. Portion sizes what you would typically expect but - prawn crackers were terribly oily, fried rice was... More

We'd been told that Tong's was good, so refused to be off-put by the outside of the less than impressive facade, and we're glad we did. It was beautiful inside, and more importantly the service was friendly, gracious, and efficient, and the food was delicious! We'll definitely be going back!

First time back here in 35 years and the place has not changed at all. Food was nice, fresh and served promptly. One serve of steamed rice however was charged at $7, that is crazy!

Eat in or take-away, Tongs is good. May not look like much, but you'll get value here. Friendly service and good food, whether you dine in or take out.
