Definitely one of the best places to eat in Broome. Service was quick and friendly, and the setting was lovely. The food was amazing, couldn’t fault any of the dishes. The mee goreng was packed with vegetables and flavour. Standout was the beautifully cooked roti...bread.More

We only got in after we rang them to see if the message we left for a booking was confirmed. We didn't't realise that meant we got no service and very average food! our shared starters come out with our mains at the same time,...when we queried that, we were told "well we can't take it back to the kitchen now" say no more I suppose! The food was even more disappointing, Mee Goreng full of bean shoots, no taste, Beef Rib just fat, Yellow Curry just yellow liquid, and the Duck Spring Rolls just dried out. we should have stayed at the Resort!More

Where do I even begin. This has to be some of the best food I’ve had in Australia in the past 2 years I’ve been here. Get the mussels that’s all I have to say they were amazing and the sauce it comes in I...could have it with every meal. You know it’s a good meal when you eat the garnish as it completes the meal. I also had the baby barramundi and it was lovely. I would say not much sauce so I’m glad I save some from the mussels for my rice. The beef ribs were fall off the bone fantastic every was just in point Dessert I had the creme brûlée and it was so good the crack was music to my ears. My friend had the lychee sundae. honestly pains me that I will never be able to eat at this place again. I would fly to Broome just to eat hereMore

The best meal we have had in Broome. Sit outside if you can Service was terrific from all of the wait staff We shared each course and the staff arranged side plates each time Started with the soft shell crab which was great Main we...shared the whole barramundi. It was cooked perfectly but perhaps could have had a little more sauce. That said I would order it again tomorrow The piece de resistance however was the individual pavlova Don’t order one each as it was huge and absolutely divine Wish we had more restaurants like this in Perth A must visit if you are in BroomeMore

First time in Broome we were advised to have a meal at The Aarli. Could only get an early booking but went for it as we love good food. We decided to have three shared plates. Kingfish sashimi which was very good followed by the...Duck Spring Rolls, which did not have any flavor or filling. Then the Chicken and Cabbage Dumplings which was also a complete disappointment Husband had the BBQ Thai Style Chicken which he enjoyed. We sat outside which was lovelyMore

After glowing reports from several locals, we were extremely disappointed in dinner at Aarli which we’d been looking forward to. The only good thing about the evening was the bottle of French rosé we ordered. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the prawn dumplings tasted like...a frozen commercial version of what can be a delicious delicate treat. The beef ribs turned out to be a pile of mostly fat sitting on a pile of dry white rice and was almost inedible. The so-called mee goreng bore no resemblance to any mee goreng you get in Malaysia or Indonesia and was no more than noodles with some vegetables and a few scrawny and rather tasteless prawns tossed with soy sauce. At $158 all up, the meal was a disgrace.More

Been to the Aarlie whenever in Broome for work and I always go, hoping it will attain previous delightfulness. Disappointed again. Having noticed that if you order 3 or 4 share plates, and even if you ask for them to be spaced out, they come...all at once (and yes, we saw a neighbouring table overwhelmed with all at once). Means hot gets cold pretty quickly. So we decided to order two share plates to start and see where we went from there. Both were disappointing. The Crispy Eggplant was a massive pile with huge individual pieces of eggplant. Centres were so hot that by the time you could eat it, the "crisp" was cold and soggy. Easily fixed by cutting eggplant up into smaller pieces and then battering. Same problem with the Salt and Pepper tofu. A huge wedge of it which meant that all the flavour was on the outside shell and the big internal chunk was tasteless (as that is what Tofu is). So again, why not cut into bit sizes and prepare. After 2 massive plates of mediocre food, we didn't bother with ordering more. Particularly given they were out (at 5:30 on a Friday night) of the sashimi and the duck spring rolls which were theoretically tempting. So if you are going to define yourself as a share/tapas place, make the portions reasonable, do them well and don't bring everything out at once. Having said that, the waitstaff was great.More

This restaurant was perfect from start to finish. The staff were very attentive, and pleasant. The food was first class with wonderful aromatic flavours . The Kingfish Sashimi, Crispy Pork Bao Buns were awesome . The Threadfin Salmon was to die for. We will definitely...come back to this delightful restaurant when next in Broome.More

You would definitely have to book but when we in Broome last week, they were not opening Mondays and Tuesdays. Excellent food but hard to book!
