Order fish of the day, dry over cooked. Drinks overpriced but so is everything in Broome. Very basic menu to order from.

We arrived and it was pretty easy to sit down and get a table the attendant gave us a menu and told us to order from the bar. Within 5 minutes we ordered at the bar and was told that we couldn’t order from the...lunch menu as they were busy. On getting outside the number of people smoking made the environment unpleasant. There are better places to eat.More

We had a delicious lunch at Matso’s today. They were flat out, yet the service was very good. We sat on the balcony, where there were lots of fans going. It’s such a lovely spot. We enjoyed plentiful lamb ribs served with chips and salad,...and eggplant fritters served with a tangy dipping sauce. I ordered a bottle of Leeuwin Prelude Chardonnay that was very well priced. My partner has been there a few times and recommends the mango beer, etc. It was my first visit. We will return. I highly recommend Matso’s to others.More

Mango beer, sounds odd but is delicious. Cold mango beer on a hot Broome day. Easy going pub food and cool air con.

My partner & I ate here 3 nights in a row because of how good everything was! The food was that amazing I wanted to thank the chef personally. Also a huge shout out to Harry- we had the best service from him on all...3 nights.More

An historic icon of Broome which you need to visit. Dinner/lunch was expensive and not up to standard. Suggest you go there for drinks and a bowl (large) of chips to enjoy the ambience in the gardens. Very popular spot so time it right. Garden...furniture is made from old chep crates - chunky and not comfortable but effective. The lovely and helpful wait staff, many from Brazil, make the place cheerful and chatty.More

Really bad experience with staff. Arrived, ordered food and drinks at bar and paid straight away. Food comes out, start eating and male waiter comes out apologises and tells us they forgot to charge for food. Okay, no issues from us, we said we'll eat...before food gets cold and then come up and pay. Female waiter comes out, tells us that despite it being their fault they want us to go pay straight away. My husband asked if he could atleast eat his food first, she shrugs walks off. Two minutes later an exceptionally rude male member of staff comes out, slaps a bill down and walks off shaking his head. Bearing in mind this is their fault, yet we're getting attitude. Husband goes in to pay as we feel incredibly awkward, only to get more attitude, and agression from the male staff member. I'm really upset about this experience, wouldn't recommend visiting here now and it had an impact on our overall broome experience. Really unhappy and this has tainted the brand for me.More

You can't go to Broome without going to Matso's, so we did. An eclectic setting, that works. We just had their famous ginger beer but there was an interesting looking food caravan that we will try next time.

This is one of the best places to visit in Broome. They have a good range of beers & wines. All of which were served by friendly and professional staff. The food is very good and well priced. The building is comfortable if you want to sit...inside but the beer garden was our fav spot. Lots of interesting people to share a table with.More
