Traditional Greek food. Had the banquet meal, good value and plenty to eat. Friendly staff. Went Friday night, really busy and very lively. Booked ahead, fortunately.

We had a wonderful dinner at this family-run Greek restaurant. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. We had sardines, saganaki, moussaka, lamb cutlets, stuffed vegetables and baklava - all very delicious, traditional Greek food that gives you a warm feeling inside.
Was there last night. Booked for two but the owner had 14 recorded. Yelled and carried on. Told me the fork would charge me a fee for not turning up, but I was there! While I sympathise around the confusion there was no confirmation of...numbers when I confirmed and it’s not a way I want to be greeted when entering a restaurant. That left a sour taste in my mouth. The food was less than average and I left having hardly touched it. Very disappointed, I’m a semi regular and won’t be back.More
Nice staff and nice ambience but food was sadly average fora Greek restaurant in Melbourne. What was particularly disappointing was that a plate of chargrilled king prawns smelt and tasted strongly of chlorine and were almost inedible. Also the calamari entre was ordinary. We did...tell the owner about the prawns who said we should have complained and he would have replaced the dish and then explained they were frozen!! Selling frozen prawns at $44 for 6 and them being frozen is outrageous. Other than that we enjoyed the meal and staff were welcoming and friendly.More
Great food and excellent service. Our server, Sarah, was fantastic and found us a table inside after we got cold despite the outdoor heating. Would definitely recommend.
On a busy Fri night it was good to find an outside table here but then found out why…the food and mixed drinks were just ok, certainly not as flavoursome as expected from Greek cuisine. Good table service from our Colombian assistant but the Spritz...cocktails and meat dishes were disappointing.More
Friendly service, great food and generous serves. Octopus and calamari were tender and with lovely flavour. Souvlaki (chicken and lamb) were delicious. Definitely recommend for a night out.
Found this wonderful restaurant on internet and so glad we went. Service was great, young lady from Columbia (sorry, forgot your name), whose only been here for a little while was friendly and attentive, ordered meat platter as well as dips and bread. Everything was...delicious and we didn't have to wait long even though they looked reasonably busy. What really stood out was that even though restaurant was quite busy, all of the staff were friendly and relaxed, no mad dashing around that you seem to see elsewhere. A credit to owners and staff, will definitely eat here againMore
You will totally enjoy this restaurant. Our group of 13 was served family style and the variety of dishes at one sitting were truly astounding. From the tender lamb to the perfectly baked potato, large Greek salad, etc., etc., it was all good. Definitely took...us back to Greece.More
Stumbled upon this place by chance while visiting Melbourne. Delicious food, a warm and cozy vibe and helpful staff. Very authentic. 10/10 would recommend!
We ate here on a whim as the que for stalactites was out the door and some. So glad we came. We shared bread and dips and the meat platter. The meat was so fresh with crispy edges it was really delicious. We will definitely...be back.More
What a little gem! When big brother “Stalactites “ is loud and proud just a few doors away, and packed to the rafters, it would be easy to be lured in and to ignore little Tsindos. Let me assure you, that would be a big...mistake. Tsindos your friendly and personable staff were lovely, a breath of unpretentious fresh air. Your food was tasty, fresh, flavoursome and totally memorable. We had Shaw platters and mezze plates with an abundance of freshly prepared pita and savoured each mouthful. We will be back. We will bring friends. We will share our find!More
Good quality food and "authentic style" of restaurant. However, we were seated at a table near the sliding door and each time it was opened cold air came into the area.
There is precious little Greek restaurants and shops in the Greek precinct of Melbourne CBD, but thankfully there is Tsindos. We did a pre- Harry Potter show selecting a la carte mezes and it was just perfect. The eggplant fritters, octopus and taramosalata were excellent....Topped by friendly and professional service, it was a great decision to go here.More
If only there was a zero star... This place could not be further from a Greek style and taste. These guys can only fool someone who never tasted otherwise tasteful and original cuisine. Four different dishes and none of them nowhere near (even) the average....Bland and no taste whatsoever. And the prices, don't get me started . Avoid this place.More
