Dinner with four friends and vegan son. Manager accommodated our request for a banquet for five and did a vegan banquet as well. Set price $56 per person but combination of mixed entree and multiple meals makes it outstanding value. Brilliant flavours and rock ling...equally amazing. Highly recommendedMore

We had a very good end of season team dinner for a big group using the $40 set menu and BYO. A private room upstairs and excellent food with BYO wine and a reasonable corkage charge made for a thoroughly enjoyable night. Can be noisy...though...More

The restaurant is totally NOT wheelchair accessible. What confirmed to me by the restaurant manager when I called up was not true. The entrance does not have a ramp for wheelchair to roll into the restaurant but needed to overcome a high step to get...in. To my greatest shock, the toilets for customers were upstairs! When I was told to use the kitchen staffs' toilet which was located at the back of the kitchen, it was no way for my wheelchair to go up the two very high steps into the kitchen in order for me to go through the kitchen then to their toilet . It was a very frustrating experience because the restaurant had not been truthful with what they claimed to be a wheelchair accessible friendly restaurant. It was listed as one of the restaurants with accessible by wheelchair on google, and the statement was confirmed by the restaurant manager when I called up. I strongly suggest the restaurant to remove their claim as wheelchair accessible friendly restaurant from google because it is not in compliance with the accessibility guidelines. Other than this negative experience, all other aspects, e.g. food, services were all satisfactory.More

We dine at chin chin’s at Koto Moon at least every 8 weeks and never disappoints. The flavours are great, good servings and good variety to choose from. We consider this our local Asian restaurant even though it’s about 20kms drive from home. We are...happy to drive here as we know that we will be satisfied every time. I can vouch for the following: Steamed pork buns Pork and veggie spring rolls Scallops and prawns stir fry Special fried rice Noodles with wontons in chicken broth Teriyaki chicken Mongolian beefMore

Who knew that Pad Thai noodles and Hor Fun noodles were actually exactly the same dish? Well they are at Chin Chin. Same strong, sticky brown sauce, practically the same veg and same noodles. All you could taste was the nasty sauce. We were hungry...so we ate the two identical dishes but they weren’t enjoyable. The same strong brown sauce was even on the Peking duck pancakes. I gave two stars for the lovely staff. But we won’t go back. Ever!More

If you like your "Pan-Asian" bland, then this is the place for you. I'm always suss when there's Thai, Malaysian, Chinese etc on the menu. Do one well, rather than a lot of different styles of food not very well at all. The staff are...friendly, altho the space is dark and warm. But the food lacks any heat at all. there are definitely better places to have Asian food than this, but if you like bland, then eat here, you'll love itMore

Friends of mine took me to this place. It was a Monday evening and a lot of restaurants in the area were closed but this one wasn't. I liked the variety of the food and the different types of things on the menu. My friends...ordered and I enjoyed everything. As I don't eat meat there is sometimes not much choice but it was fine here. I went to uni in this area and loved coming back. The restaurant is in an older Victorian house - I liked the atmosphere but there is not a lot of space. All in all an enjoyable evening and great food. The service was personable and friendly too. You could bring your own wine as well.More

We now live in Cairns on this recent trip to Melbourne Chin Chin's was a definite must. We met with friends who had not been before and had a truly enjoyable time. The food was as good as we found it 11 years ago. The...service spectacular. Great ambiance. Will go there again again, even if we have to keep flying down to do so.More
