Poor form Collins Quarter- can’t believe you are charging $4.50 for a take away coffee- poor form - don’t mind if that’s for table service and a real cup - but for a paper cup and I only order half full !!

We had a work farewell lunch here today. The menu was adapted and condensed for peak period which was a great idea. Plenty to choose from still. Our waitress was adorable and after announcing where the bathrooms were, kindly warned us she would take our...More

Attended for a work lunch, had heard good things and wasn’t disappointed. Only gripe would be that the dishes were smaller than expected but the quality of the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend going, either in a big group or small.

Too noisy to chat, but it was in the evening. If the music had been just a little bit less jarring, it would have been a great evening!

This is the first time I had ventured beyond the Victorian facade at the Paris end of Collins street - but won’t be the last! There are as many rooms within the establishment to suit your mood if the day: the front bar with comfortable...More

Lovely little restaurant on Collins. After a week in Melbourne we were just looking for something simple, but, good. We found it here. The private booths were almost little rooms. Our waitress was covering for someone that was off sick, she usually works bar and...More

I’ve been coming to Collins Quarter for years now and I’ve never really known quite what to make of it. It’s always seemed a bit disjointed and disconnected. I came tonight for a farewell in Pink Alley our the back. The farewell was ok but...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Description
Since 2007, Collins Quarter has seamlessly entwined business and pleasure from breakfast until well after dark. Our perfect mix of purpose-built rooms, intimate nooks and open spaces offer a variety of settings for almost every occasion. Collins Quarter occupies a Victorian terrace, built as consulting rooms and a residence in 1872 by Dr. Robert Martin. Today, Collins Quarter boasts an inspired blend of 19th and 21st century design within its polished but relaxed quarters. Entering from Collins Street, you'll be immediately seduced by the sophisticated European elegance of the new Doc Martin's aperitif and digestif bar. From there the rest of the venue unfolds, revealing Colin's Pub, A Quarter Past - private dining, The Magnolia Courtyard, Blind Alley Bar and Ra Cigar and Cocktail Lounge. Quite simply, no other single venue in Melbourne offers you more. Collins Quarter undoes the top button of sophistication to deliver the quality the Paris end of Collins Street demands.
